It was rigged to make her look popular as infact she probably has the most haters out of the lot in there so she should have got Jedwards reaction, you know where its realistic.

I was surprised yea but I bet the crowd were controlled and as she was first I doubt they would allow them to boo.

How was it rigged? I doubt they held up signs telling them not to boo ffs (and even so the audience full of chavs would've rebelled anyway)

But I was so shocked. I mentioned it whilst watching.

Not really but she will be booed when she comes out she's just another Jade Goody she'll probably end up bullying poor Jedward

Yes I was surprised but pleased. I think she's quite needy and I'll be pleased if she can come out of this well.

Why do some people criticise Kerry but idolise Charlie Sheen?

Why do some people criticise Kerry but idolise Charlie Sheen?

Because Charlie Sheen is famous for having a career. Kerry is famous for being a hopeless junkie and parading her kids on telly for her own financial gain.

Charlie Sheen uses his for humour,Kerry Katona uses hers to go on a million reality shows to throw out the same old sob stories like Aye miss me kids I do,well dont leave your ****ing kids then its simple Kerry.

Not at all. Didnt she win IAC by getting everyone to feel sorry for her? I havent heard that much of her since then so I assume everyone still feels sorry for her...

They made sure that no boos could be heard by digital manipulation. clever idea to make the first show go with a bang

and it worked

You are aware she was in Atomic Kitten before the personal issues?

Charlie Sheen is an overrated, attention-seeking twat in my opinion.

You say she was in Atomic Kitten like that is something that should rocket her into all our hearts. It doesn't. She was in it for about five minutes and they've changed the line-up half a dozen times since then.

As for Charlie Sheen, I loved Platoon, Red Dawn, Hot Shots and other films too numerous to mention, and his guest appearance in Ferris Bueller's Day Off alone should qualify him for a place in the house.

He may well be an attention-seeking twat, but this is Big Brother. Do you think all the others are camera shy?

I was in the audience last night and I can assure you no such thing happened.
I've got to admit that I was a little surprised that there wasn't more booing for KK, but I suppose her going in first was a very big factor in this.

They have really changed the layout for the house exterior this year. The audience is kind of split and shepherded in in small groups (compared to last year) and packed a lot closer together. This makes it near impossible for pockets of support/anti-support to congregate. It's very difficult to get a chant or a boo going when other like-minded people are scattered around. Mrs Southblue was looking forward to giving KK a boo, but even she applauded Kerry - the group pressure being too strong for her to feel confident enough to show individuality (being very close to the catwalk and in Kerry's direct line of sight didn't help either).

You've also got to remember that after spending 6 - 8 hours waiting in the pouring rain, people were just happy for the rain to stop and the show to begin (both events happening pretty much simultaneously) and a lot of the enthusiasm was directed towards this and the general excitement of a new CBB beginning.

For the record, I was personally pleased that KK got a decent reception - I believe every new HM deserves a fair chance (though I don't really want to re-open that debate!)

Last night isn't the first time it's rained on a BB crowd. Why do you think everyone was cheering and there were hardly any boos? I was really surprised.

Kind of, I wasn't expecting such a warm reception. I really like Kerry, so I'm glad she was cheered!

I'm aware this is not the first time we've had a rainy live show, and like I said, we too were surprised there was hardly any boos. Just trying to explore any possible reasons for this other than producer conspiracy theories.
