I just got this app, but it says it provides you with 30 days access.. so is the rest after that an in app purchase? blah.

no lol the content is deleted after 30 days, same as bbc, itv and channel 4 do with thier apps

ahhh right. ah that's ok then. not being able to stream over 3G is a bit daft, there are ways around that though!

i would assume so, my qusetion though, is it different from the news apps we've been hearing about. I want an easy app way to watch all those video snippets.

I got it, no more advanced than any other catchup app. Plus you have to say you are over '17' to officially download the app but check a box saying you are over 16 to watch the video, which contradicts itself.

Okay - does it cost anything and if I'm out and about, like chilling on a bus - could I watch it or would it ask for Internet Access? In which case, this App is ******ing pointless.

Its free and obviously it needs internet. No app can transfer data from a server to your device with out some sort of telecommunications signal. All it is is 5OD though. No clips or anything. Just previous episodes.

It works via wi-fi on itouch, bit crap though, bad quality episodes!

Useless App then.

You need a computer to DOWNLOAD the App, so obviously anyone that downloads the App has access to the internet and a computer - so why not just catch up on Channel 5's Website in full screen? :bored:
