Why is Big Brother being cheeky?

I don't get why people are acting as if this a new thing...BB has always had retorts ready for housemates who try and talk back to them (Excluding Marcus obviously :bored:) or just in general.

BB was cheeky in BB3,BB5 and BB9 - ESPECIALLY in BB5 but in a more 'serious' voice LOL.

Big Brother has had more of a personality since BB6. He was very much the dictator in BB5. I don't mind them being less formal, but hate it when they become cheeky and camp.

The housemates should suffer whenever possible.

'So how about when we get out of here, you know me and you go for a little drink baby? :evilgrin:'

And then the producers switched to a guy Big Brother with an evil deep voice and he's like:

'Jason, is there anything else?'

And Jason was like :shocked:

True but its more complicated than me just not liking it to be honest. I don't like the fact they have done this to Big Brother but say this show was under a different name I would still watch it. Like the programme itself isn't as horrible as I describe it to be, its just the fact they are associating it with a programme that is defined in a different way and I perceived a different way. Like if it was a freshly started programme I'd probably like it but its my expectations that have been let down. If that makes any sense.

I will still watch because its only been a couple of shows and ill give it more of a chance but if its the same type of editing ect and with no live feed in BB12 I may just give up.
