Freederm has responded to fans of Big Brother over the axe of the TV show's live feed.
Channel 5 announced earlier this week that the 24-hour stream is to be cut and replaced by a variety of social media applications, which has triggered complaints from unhappy viewers.
Freederm posted: "Thanks to everyone for all the comments regarding the live feed. It's clearly something you all feel passionately about and we've passed on your feelings to Channel 5 as we promised we would.
"We're drawing a line under this now as there is nothing further that we can do, other than to wish you a fab weekend."
The company later added: "We know [this is] something you feel strongly about - as mentioned earlier this afternoon we've passed your feelings onto C5. We're not sure what the outcome will be, as we don't get involved in these kinds of decisions.
"However we really would like to draw a line under this now, as this page is here to support Freederm's sponsorship and competition."
