Are you satisfied with CBB daily show's new format and edit?

It seems like the daily show is lacking something even though I love everything else.

Maybe I've not seen enough footage and many things are left out?!

I love it, I was against it when I heard about it before the show begun - but I like it now.
So fresh and new.

Just fed up with the Katona Show though .
They need to give others airtime.

There is the answer in bold c5 have done a great job i stand corrected i thought they would make a mess of it all but at least they wouldnt be stupid enough to mess with the live feed and almost ironically they have nailed the house the cast the new presenter what a great job! but then they go and make it the first big brother in history to completely axe the live feed and destroy the whole thing i forgot big brother was happening for most of yesterday even after that great launch and i think a lot of people will have done the same and wont come back.

If they aren't going to have life feed they may as well make the highlights an extra 30mins or we don't actually see anything happening or developing.

The new editing is fab! I was really sceptical when I heard what 5 were planning to do, but they've pulled it off well and all these little changes merge to create a fresh new image for the programme. imo C4's editing last year was far more messy.

The show looks good, apart from the editing, no scene (yes, I'm calling it a scene :D ) lasts more than about 45 seconds.

I'd even be content if we could have something like Diary Room Extra everyday

All we see in the highlights are the clips uploaded online anyway so it seems kind of pointless also the editing style is dire in my opinion.

Yes,I'm happy with it all.

Yeah i like it, it's fresh!!! Normally i get bored in the highlights halfway through, but where they have done abit of editing to make the scene's sorter it made it more watchable, which will be a good thing for new viewers

I don't think we can get a proper judgement on the highlights show until tonight, as last night was merged with a live show it wasn't really a proper highlight show.

To be honest the only thing I took a disliking to was the music being played over some scenes and the names coming up telling us who they were.

I love the new style of editing, I dislike the name tags though.

One thing I don't really like is the names of the HM showing up when they are first shown, its exactly like TOWIE or the Chelsea programme and that shouldn't be applied to this show because it will just give off the vibe that CBB is scripted like TOWIE/Chelsea

There's been one highlight show covering about 5 hours when kerry had three tasks, who else are they going to spend their time showing?

I think everything about the highlights is brilliant. Even the name tags. It doesn't hurt to know who you are looking at. Especially in the first couple of days.

I liked the dramatic music when Kerry was getting into bed. It was funny.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I didn't like how Marcus was narrating, but I know what you mean. It's slowly moving away from "narrating" and starting to intrude on the show itself.
Other than that, I'm loving the new look HL show. Editing seems better (I don't know enough about the technical details to explain why I feel that way), the action flows better and each HM seems to get a fair share of footage.
I don't think that the name captions will be a permanent thing (hopefully) and just are just something to act as an aide-memoir for the first couple of shows (quite a good idea really - more so if they keep it for the main series).

I think C5/Endemol have made a few mistakes so far with this series (so far), but the HL show is one thing they have definitely got right IMO

Which is awful. I just can't immerse myself properly.

I'd prefer the old style editing, but I don't have as many problems with it as some do, the nametags are annoying, but I hope that they begin to be phased out as the series progresses and we know the housemates better. My biggest grievance is Marcus actually, I enjoyed his dry narration but now they are trying to make him part of the entertainment with his narration, which comes across as too informal.

I'm not fussed, the music and tags get annoying but I'l continue to watch and support C5 with the decision to bring it back.

The new editing is a really good idea, it will attract new viewers and make it easier for people to understand.

If they need to appeal to people with fewer active braincells. Others will just feel it is being made dumber.

And what is the point after every conversation of going to a brief profile image of one of the HMs who was speaking. If they continue doing that it is likely to really annoy some people. If they did that through the 10 week run of the main series it would become torture.

I would be able to ignore the theatrics and over editing if there was MORE FOOTAGE. Seems to be consensus...

I love the name tags although they do strongly resemble the name tags on The Hills, The Only Way Is Essex and Made In Chelsea.

I'm not really happy about the music but I can definitely put up with it!

funny, Im fed up with it being the Jedward show.

The name tags just highlight the fact they don't have very well known celebs. The editing is a bit clippy and it doesn't get you involved very much. Like its been edited for a 12 year old with an attention disorder.

This episode was a lot better because the crappy editing didn't occur in the second half of the show thanks to Tara.
