She's far from dumb, but has made a mint acting it. Will wait till I have seen more of her to form a proper opinion, but my initial reaction was not favourable! Would like her to stay in for entertainment value, love or hate her, she is going to be great for ratings :)

I don't think she's pretending. I think she truly is that stupid. Haven't we all met people like that? She rejoices in her own brainlessness. She thinks it's cute to be pretty and stupid. I'd love if they put some beautiful women in the house who were also smart to show that one isn't exclusive of the other... but it's a forlorn hope. This girl makes me cringe. She does that awful thing of shortening everyone's name, and she talks even when there's nothing to say. "Oh yeah it's all good babe, been, like, really busy hun, did a shoot for vogue babe, it's been really crazy hun". ******.

Interesting how some people here think she really is thick, others think she is puting it on. I contentiously will throw it out that to be as common and shallow as she is, there has to be a lack of intelligence there. If you look at her facial expressions, she lacks any individual thought and is completely a product of her times. The way she speaks, breathes, etc, is completely materialistic. Hence, she cannot be intelligent. However, as to whether she is as unbelievably moronic as she is coming across, that is anybody's guess.

I don't mind thick. Thick can be quite sexy, funny and endearing. I just hope she doesn't turn out to be bitchy. She looks like she could be a right cow, but it's refreshing to see a hot girl who isn't full of herself and mean too. If she remains malice-free then she's in with a chance of winning.

I actually agree with this. When Jedward wanted to ask Big Brother about MPs and house of commons, Amy was practically shouting to be able to put her own thought on the matter before BB revealed it.
