I miss the old robot like MArcus, who just described everything exactly, without making some cheeky joke or something!
WHat happened to him? Did he move to London or something?
Its alost like he wants to be in the house! LOL!

Marcus 2.0 may as well not be here in my opinion. If its going to be cheesy like this I would rather some other voice over person.

No I miss robotic Marcus, with the occasional joke that was so random and unexpected it actually made you laugh. He is too OTT now.

Think it was a little bit OTT tonight but I reckon that by the end of CBB C5 will have hopefully tweaked little bits of the production and it wont be like this all the time.

I miss the old Marcus too, some of the stuff he said tonight made me cringe. But saying that, he was like it in BB11 and UBB too so it was silly to expect he would just change for this series.

I don't remember Marcus being this bad in BB11/UBB.

Well he wasn't as bad then but that's when things started getting bad. The editing took a turn for the worse during those two series' and that's when Marcus changed his narrating style. There were early signs and now in this series he's become a complete parody of himself. It's sad to see.

Yes it definitely started in BB11. This is just car crash television and it is indeed sad to see. An iconic programme I fell in love with is no longer. And if it had not come back I would be satisfied with its run. Now that the world that revolves around the name has been dramatically changed into this its as if I can no longer call myself a die hard fan, when actually I am a die hard fan of any decent show that calls it self Big Brother.

Prefer how he was

Theres no point in blaming Marcus, he only goes by the script he's given.

However, yes, I did rather him in the days of old. :)

I preferred how he was before but I can put up with him as he is now,not a dramatic change.

Slowly but surely trying to morph him into the CDWM bloke, who for the record, gets on my tits.

Too over the top for me. Also they should scrap the names on screen and the music then it would be good. I don't mind the recap though.

Make a poll - and then when it reaches a high enough percentage of 'NOs' send it to him.

'Most of the housemates are in the living room, passin' around the Jaffa Cakes :)'

I miss him.
See that's what Mollie is saying - like he use to be so funny with the random jokes and stuff and pointing out pointless stuff or the way he said things and it would make us LOL like;

'John James is in the closet..'

Now he's just OTT.

He's a *******.

For reading a script? k.

I like it better when it's like back to basics or so to speak. He needs to speak less so we get more viewing the housemates time. The added effects make it seem less real?

I think he's being overused a bit as well, he shouldn't have been at the launch night and we don't have to hear him on promotions for things. Because he is one of the things from the original that has been kept Channel 5 (or Endemol) seemed to want to overuse him thinking that will please the original audience. But the appeal before was that he had a smallish role and just came across a normal and relatively modest person who was like most of us in a way.

I don't mind it but I miss the old simple style of them just describing what is going on.

He almost definitely has a big say in the scripts. They're very "him".
