Me, and oldie from Channel 4 BB site assumes this forum is pretty much the replacement.
Making an Observation on numbers of Forum posts here, against old forums this new show is not setting the place alight.

The old Forum were manic with posting numbers.
Sad but true, there is not enough action to want to make you come rushing on and defend or argue about the contestants or show in general.
I switched off after 15 minutes tonight, pretty sure others are too.

It doesn't even feel like a Big Brother is happening.

Just shows how many mistakes 5/Endemol have made. Live feed is in the centre of that.

It doesn't even feel like a Big Brother is happening.

It does when it's on, and afterwards on Facebook and Twitter when everyone is talking about it and stuff.

But then it dies down - and you're right.

We need Live Feed badly man.

If you mean the old CH4 BB forum I think the forum at Gagajoyjoy that then moved to Livecloud was meant to be the replacement for quite a few from there. Others may have moved to others like here or Digital Spy, some may have used them alongside the CH4 site anyway. Obviously any official site is always likely to have large traffic if there is a forum. Also live stream is likely to create more traffic for sites as there is more to talk about.

CH5's new site is apparently just continuing the downgrade that CH4 started. They seemed to put their money into promoting the show and their priorities into courting the press. They needed to listen more to the audience though and cater for them.

I haven't really been aware of any news... granted I've been busy the past 2 days but there aren't many rumours or arguments or stories floating about besides the highly contrived ones.

The forums have had their blood supply completely cut off and are suffering badly as a result anybody that says they didnt watch the live feed so dont care is so shallow minded (s****y on here springs to mind) as probably 90 percent of the forum posts they read probably stemmed from the live feed be it either from members watching it or press articles gleaned from the feed.
The c4 forums were something special and its a shame that c4 lost that personal touch it has cost them dearly in the long run just as c5 will find out if you dont consult with your clients you wont succeed its a shame really.

Channel5/Ed. really have messed this series up.

I was going to stick with it but last night just was boooring and the sister show was a train wreck. Shame.

I don't come on much as there's nothing to speak about. At least SOME live feed would improve things, I'm sure.

I've always preferred the normal non-celeb BB, but if they continue with this kind of format and woeful coverage in a few weeks time then they really deserve to have a massive flop and ratings disaster on their hands.

Been a fan from the start and I just hope things improve.

I was a oldie from the Channel 4 website and thankfully this place is not that one. I was banned after fight night on Big Brother 5 and I'm not even sure why or for what post. That is why I joined TiBB and I never went back.

Anyway that aside, even having taken a break form this site, I can see that the number of post is down on previous CBB's. Clearly not having the live feed will affect the post numbers and then there are all the die hard on the site that don't like the fact Channel 5 have tinkered with the format, who won't be posting at the moment.

Some people were always going to be unhappy with the move and that is just a fact and a lot of those have complained about changes Channel 4 have made over the years but still end up watching the show and in the end posting again. It is just how it is. It just one those things and it is to be expected. The British complain at everything, it is becoming a national sport.

I agree that their isn't the action of the past in the show yet, but I think it is still too early to judge the whole package. We are 3 days in to CBB which generally has much less to talk about than a standard BB run. That is just a fact. These people's whole careers can stand or fall on what they do in the house. It is not like they are a standard bunch of house mates trying to become Z list celebrities.

All the same I think you have to give it time to develop. I never judge a BB run too early, in CCB I give it at least a week and with the main show a couple of weeks at least.

I thought show was fine and preferred it to the night one before. That might be just be me, but I won't be turning it off any time soon.
