Some people seem to think tonights episode was the best so far. So is it progressing and getting better?

I guess it's because of Tara's sudden gameplay.

The editing wasn't so OTT today, it was more on a par with older series which is why I preferred it.

It was better in my opinion because the last 20 mins had not ott editing and Marcus didn't make an jokes which was good. Also tara added some serious to the show which was great. The first half was just as bad though IMO.

Agree.

Perhaps it is just a steady progression for Channel 5 in getting a balance to it. It could be really good at the end.

Yes!!....Because the games are finally beginning, thanks to Paddy prompting Tara! :cheer2:

More of this please !...And please don't concentrate on the usual fauxmance that completely ruins big brother time after time!!

Cheers.

I was good. I just hope the producers or their minions keep an eye on forums like this (not just FB and Twitter) to pick up on what works and what doesn't.

It was great tonight, if they ditched the opening montage and the fauxmance it'd be great. :D

I think we are seeing a teething process. Remember they probally got peoples reactions before post production began today. They may just ignore us, but perhaps they listened.

The previous episodes have been fluff, tonight we saw Big Brother back again.

The whole Lucien/Pamela/Amy thing bored the hell out of me but Tara and Paddy saved it tonight.

Shaping up to be an excellent series. Great mix of "celebs".

It started good and has just got better, the new formats take some getting used to but it is coming across really good now.

Yes, it's getting back on form, I'm really enjoying this series, hopefully they won't start focusing on a Lucien/Amy love story though and just stick the tactics and gameplaying/Darryn Versus Tara

I think it is, last night's show still had that channel 5 feel but everything was toned down to an extent, Marcus wasn't as cheesy as usual (although he cannot be forgiven for the horse racing commentary during the egyptian task), montages were still there but used in more understandable scenarios such as speeding up the musical chairs game, music was once again used sporadically, it's only appearance being for comedic purposes (Darryn's story).

Housemate wise we're improving as well, Jedward and Kerry were given far less airtime and everyone else was given a chance to develop, Lucien is shamelessly searching for a showmance and could turn into a hate figure as a result, whilst Tara is finally giving us a contestant who is willing to play the game.

The aims for Channel 5: Continue to tone down the new stuff and use it sporadically, show less Kerry and Jedward and calm Marcus down.
