I'm an avid BB fan & so 5 days in, watched every show & offshoot twice (at least) & STILL feel totally uninvolved with the whole thing, seems to me most people on here don't especially like the new format, but seem to get annoyed when others say it.
But its really just not very good is it?

I think we're all giving it a good hard try. When something you're really used to suddenly changes it's hard to get used to. It could be a lot of us are still working out whether it truly is as awful as we dread it might be, or if we're just not liking the change. Or maybe that's just me.

Personally I love the show, I think I might prefer this to CBB2010

I love the show and the new style channel 5 have inserted into it ... Now it seems a whole lot fresher and in my opinion it is miles better than what channel 4 did for last couple of years. Theyve moved to a new channel so it needed a fresher feel to it and thats what channel 5 have done.

I really am loving it, but I do concede that something more in the way of footage or live feed is needed, 1 hour a day is nowhere near enough, there could even be 15 minute slots dropping in on BB to see what's going on through the day, that would even be a help.
The spin off show is good too, Emma was far better on the 2nd night than the first one, but last nights bbbots was really a waste of time with a ridiculous quiz of no merit whatsoever taking up the whole programme with that silly person presenting instead of Emma.
With both Josie and Ben on bbbots last nights show from BB11,a lot more could have been discussed as to the return of BB and how it progresses from now. That quiz farce last night though was just totally pathetic.

The lack of action on TIBB pretty much says it all, nothing to talk about, all i seem to see is people moaning about the new edit/no LF (fair enuff) or people getting offended by anyone who has a bad word to say about it!
I like the new show, its not AMAAZIIING!! ..but its alright. It could be worse, it could be better so I can make do.

The bottom line is the daily H/Ls show on its own, simply isnt enough for BB. When we're used to a lot more, so it is sort of difficult to get too involved like previous years, yeah i agree.

i think everyone will just 'get used' to the new format & quit commenting on it, or just quit watching altogether, i'm among the latter i think. hard to let go though!. even if it is pure piffle. not even piffle, piffle light.

I am not settling, I am giving it a bit more of a chance. If the normal BB is the same I will no longer waste my time with this parody.

They've gradually scaled it down, I can see them doing it 3 or 4 nights a week instead of every night eventually too. The actual content has reduced a great deal this year, not just in the show but on the web.
Endemol seemed to want to move to something different as some things last year showed. But they neglected to ask the audience what they thought. Big Brother isn't a cash cow you can just automatically get viewers for, you need to keep your audience. There were some things in Big Brother that made it popular, that made people connect to the show. If those are eroded away it becomes a different show and one that has to find a whole new audience.
