Name Tags - Big deal or not?

I don't see why people are getting so annoyed about the names coming up by the side of the housemate for about two seconds. What's your opinions?

I think there good because they help the casual viewers and TBH dont bother me that much

They don't bother me. They only bother people who love to moan about the show but yet they then claim to love it. :rolleyes:

I hate them. It takes away from the reality/illusion of just watching a house but turns it into more of a tv show. And yes they are a big deal but they seem to be going away.

I don't mind them at all, they've never bothered me. They are quite helpful for people who dip in and out of the show too and for people like Bobby, because you forget about them.

Yes, they have them on TOWIE but they dont bother me at all. They arent exactly bold and brightly coloured are they lol.

I didn't notice many tonight, maybe they're toning them down a bit?
I found it useful at the start because it took such a long time to remember Darryn's name, I just called him Mr Pap

They don't take up half the screen, I barely notice them anymore. So no, not bothered.

I don't mind them at all, in fact I have 2 elderly Aunts who watch Big Brother and can never remember names so when they come up it helps them see who they are.

I hardly notice them anyway to be honest.

It's an indication of the general dumbing down and cheapening of the main show, which is revealed in many more ways than just that.

At first I didn't like them but I've got used to them. I didn't mind the editing for CBB7 or BB11 but this time I did start to think the show's becoming more like The Hills and I'm A Celebrity and less like BB but after ast night's show I'm seeing that good ol' BB is still there underneath it all

I don't mind them really. I think they will be quite hand in the first few days of normal BB.

I found them odd at the beginning(like they didnt trust us to know who these celebs were).

But now I dont even notice them. Its no biggy. Just unnecessary.

ps; I agree they would be very useful for regular BB. At least for first 2 weeks.

HATE them with a passion, stopped watching BB due to them and the chavvy music, want to keep my new TV perfect for a bit longer tbh, it was 98% getting the remote through it ;)

I think the labels need to point out that Jedward are Irish and nothing to do with us Brits in case anone overseas is watching as well.
