I don't know about anyone else, but for me BB at the moment is just something I watch, a bit like how I might watch Deal or No Deal or something. It's something I watch regularly, but I'm not addicted to or obsessed with, it's just...there, if that makes sense. I'm not religiously following it, and well, to be fair, that's not really possible anyway.

What I'm getting at is that it's kind of sad, it's my favourite show yet I can't become as involved as I usually would. I'm enjoying it, but I can't become enthralled in it. An hour of highlights per day is just not sufficient, I'm sorry but it's not, at the end of the day live feed is a necessity. It's a shame because this seems like it's one of the best CBB's in years.

I feel exactly the same way, but I also believe C5 **** editing etc. are also to blame.

Have been watching religiously so far anyway :D

Kind of annoying to since I can't record it (I'm in Ireland) so have to watch on Channel 5, live. It's like the days before Sky+, but anything I miss I use BBUKLIVE.COM which is really good.

Not sure if I'll be able to watch as much when I go back to school next week though, will still watch the main show but may have to miss BBBOTS.

I feel exactly the same way it's so bad waiting for the next day even though you know your only going to see 1 hour footage :bored:

I know what you mean, BB10 was the last series I felt addicted too.

This year I think I would have been again but the lack of news and feeling of been involved is ruining it.

I feed exactly the same. I can't become connected with the series at all and I am only really watching it out of habit rather than feeling a need to watch it.
I find it quite sad also that its here but not here at the same time. I do not think its only live feed I feel the editing is making it into more of a tv show rather than watching genuine people so I can't connect to them or feel I know them at all. I just want the show I loved back.

I am sort of the same. I am not too happpy with the handling of the show by Channel 5 ie no Life Feed etc but I am still interesed in the show and are interested in what the housemates are doing. Just not really on a obsessive level. Yes I have people I like in there but I am not emotinally attached to them. If I had Live Feed I do think I would be more interested in the show. Persides it is not my main obsession nowadays but I am still interested in the show regardless. So I am on the bench with my legs dangling in the water. Neutral to be fair.

I have great hope and I know it will inprove.

I agree 110% Jack, I can't even describe how much you hit the nail on the head there buddy.

Honestly, this is an AMAZING series - best CBB yet, and we can't even get into it.

I'm definitely interested in it, but not obsessed, which might be just as well in September.

I think Bit On The Side is a great show though and theyve nailed the spin off, just a shame we cant get into it properly because the housemates and the series in general is amazing.

I'm not as bothered as I used to be. I used to HAVE to watch that and Big Mouth plus some live every day. Now I do watch BB Highlights and am steadily starting to enjoy them but I don't watch the website for updates or even look for news which is pretty sad, being a fan from the start :(

Pretty much, except I don't feel compelled to watch it regularly anyway. The timeslot is usually up against something I find much more interesting and as it stands I find very little motivation to cancel watching something informative, entertaining or funny in favour of...well...the Jedward show.

Darryn is the only thing keeping me watching at the minute really. I'll lose even more interest if Bobby goes on friday.

The forum isn't as good this year either, it is usually a lot more active than this.

No one has LF to natter about.

Yep, I'm the same. It's just sort of there. The fact the forum is so dead speaks volumes too, there is just no buzz. LF is definitely a big factor. 24 hours between shows and only getting dribs and drabs inbetween isn't enough to get me hooked at all. And really hope they lay of the editing of the task and parties, that just annoys me :bored:

if you feel like this now after less than a week and with some housemates that are familiar to you then ask yourself how are you going to feel for 10 weeks with housemates you dont know.
I have not watched since episode 2 as the editing was so dire and i dont feel connected to the show atm, there is nothing much to talk about

The series is a flop, theres just nothing there anymore, no big brother buzz, the show has changed for the worst and I just hope the production team have serious thinks about the normal series in 2 weeks or they are going to struggle with ratings.

Yeah, I just said the forum was dead on another thread and was told actually, it's been really busy. Can't see it. Last year, threads were on page two before you turned around.

I find myself scrolling through the listings to see if there's a film on, or something more interesting... which would never have happened previously.

Yeah, even straight after the ep lastnight the first page wasn't even filled with threads and within 2 hours all the threads were pretty much dead. Not good really!!

But then again like some people said before, it's hard to find stuff to actually talk about with it

Totally agree it feels like the cast just turn up record the highlights and go home again - I used to find the most interesting bits were on the LF listening in on people's off the cuff conversations and watching how they interacted - this all seems scripted to me :(

I didn't think live feed was important. I never have time to watch it... but obviously not having it has had an enormous impact. I really do hope they bring it back for the next bit of the show or I fear for the future of BB. This just isn't sustainable.

No. I cant get enough of it.

I feel because we dont see much im more excited to watch highlights to see whats been going on in the house.

One hour of highlights isn't enough. I know people moaned about no LF during BB10, and rightly so, but at least we had overnight LF then. We have nothing but 1 hour of footage per day this year. Even the videos on the C5 website are shown on the HL show, deeming the useless. I am really enjoying it and I think the housemates are great, but it's just too hard to enthral in.

Jack you've explained it just the way I feel. I've watched BB from the first show and feel almost sad that I can't seem to get enthusiastic about it the way I always have before. I don't even bother to watch OK Tv or BB's Little Bit on the Side.

I'm sure LF would engage me again.

Its far from compulsive viewing. In fact I went out last night and still havent bothered catching up with last nights episode.

The choice of HMs and the editing are just uninvolving. They set the bar low with Jedward thats for sure.

I'm much more enthralled in this series than the last CBB where I would sometimes even skip around in episodes because I couldn't really be bothered with it.

It makes it more exciting for me when a new episode comes on and I don't know what happened that day, where as with BB11 I watched so much feeds that I already saw most of what was shown on the highlights and it wasn't as exciting.

But I still hope they bring back feeds for BB12, because that's what it's really important that you feel like you know the housemates I think. CBB is different.
