I would say so far this has been the best Celebrity Big Brother since CBB4 with Chantelle, Pete Burns, etc. It's been really entertaining. Great mix of personalities, at this point I wouldn't really call any of them boring.

It's turning so good!
My favourite was CBB6 but this one at the minute is a close second everything has been so unpredictable so far in this series as well.. Tara the other night trying to form an alliance with Lucien and Bobby and Bobby tonight having the massive rant about Amy

It was really good tonight, it's really shaping up to be a classic series. I love how the little cracks are starting to emerge. I only hope the regular series will be far more bitchy again and be on par with BB5! :D
Also I'm glad they are throwing parties every night with a crazy amount of booze, did you notice all the bottles!? :o

Well things will be unpredictable if we only have the HLs and they don't show things developing evenly among HMs. It's way too early to say if the cast is up there with the best. There are problems with the new approach to the show, as has been pointed out by others.

I think the cast is pretty good. They're not the most famous line-up but they're young-ish or at least in current TV shows that relate to a youngish audience so they're still recogniseable. And their perosnalities are pretty good too. Bobby is the only one who hadn't really shown any screen presence - until tonight

CBB5 was appalling
It was an OK series but admittedly was boring compared to the amazing CBB3 and 4 and was overshaddowed by the whole race row. Still had its moments

The Alex Reid series is better than this.

CBB4 is my favorite and at this moment I can't see CBB8 beating it, but it will probably be in my top three. It's been really good so far and I can only see it getting better.

I disagree that CBB4 was the best of the past series. I thought CBB3 was great with jackie stallone and john mcKririck(sp?), also i really liked CBB6 with Coolio.
If i had to rank them...
CBB3 (jackie stallone is the greatest housemate ever in the history of big brother, celebrity or not)
CBB6 (watching coolio terrorize the house was amazing TV)
CBB5(shilpa-gate was cringy and hard to watch, but still brill)
CBB7(Stephen and Sov were hilarious, The Tree of temptation was funny, but Jonas and that girl were boring as...)
CBB4(pete burns was entertaining, everyone else was lame. I know UK people loved george galloway because of his statu7s, but i'm not british, so i didn't find it that interesting him pretending to be a cat)
never saw CBB 1 or 2
really all of the CBB's i've seen have been awesome though, even though i ranked CBB4 so low, it was still cool, but i really didn't know most of the celebs, and the celebs i did know (the americans tracy and dennis) really were sheet, so..

So i guess we are not considering UBB to be officially CBB8? i just noticed that.
I'd agree with that, i consider this current series to be CBB8, although on the channel 5 website they are calling this current series "Series 1" lol, but eigther way, I don't think any of us would consider UBB to be CBB8, right?

Sally, Pamela,Lucien and Bobby may not be that great (from what we have seen anyway). Also the few tasks we have seen haven't made it great yet. The camera one was good, but I've no doubt the other HMs were aware of it. But the rest wasn't that good. Musical chairs? lol. And the tantrum task was an old rehash, and very obvious to the other HMs I expect.
