Matt Cardle - Debut Album "Letters"

Matt Cardle’s first single to be taken from his debut album ‘Letters’ will be called ‘Run For Your Life’.
The single has been written by Gary Barlow, who told The Sun online today, “I thought the song would be perfect for Matt and it really suits his vocals…He’s a lovely chap and I thought he was great on the show, a real talent.”

Run For Your Life will be released digitally on Sunday 9th October, hitting the shops the next day on Monday 10th October.

From 5th September, you’ll be able to hear the first play of the single on the radio, as well as taking a first look at the official video!
The Run For Your Life CD single is now available for pre-order over on HMV.com and the iTunes pre-order will be available soon. The CD single and digital bundle also exclusively features two extra tracks titled Lost & Found and Chemical.

I think soul/jazz really suits Rebecca. She's very old school Shirley Bassey-esque :)

Yep, I think Rebecca will be much more flexible in terms of genre as she has shown on XF. I can imagine a lot of Matt's material sounding similar. He has a good voice but I just dont 'feel' him like I do with Rebecca.
