This has been a problem with Darryn's and many other similer tasks in big brother history. Nobody in that situation, no matter who they where. Would not give the house the meal or phone call from loved one. They all know the public is watching, and big brother can tell the rest of the house what they did at a moments notice.

Yea if he was out of the house he would have taken all of them. He has to be selfish and ruthless in his industry. Clearly just to get further.

He had no option but to do the right thing. I find him quite ridiculous.

The whole program was built around the Darryn has a heart theme, including the acceptance of the apology from Bobby. All seemed a bit contrived to me. Rounded off with Sally in the DR hammering the point home a bit more.

 Best housemate ever. That moment was a classic!

But I agree, totally orchestrated to make him look good. We all said here that it was pathetically easy.

Darryn has a heart because he loves his animals.

I have to admit(I still don't care for Darryn though), that in his position, after giving them all a meal and drink, to be then offered to let one of them get a phone call from their partner/family or spend half an hour with my Dog, then I would have chosen my pet definately.

That is why he was crying when he left the diary room in my opinion.

Hilarious that his loved pet is a Macaw though, they always say how owners look like their pets:wink:

Well they've not exactly hid that they don't mind messing around with time :joker:

It is a shame though, it's annoying how everything "fits"

Darryn does have a heart. It pumps blood round his body. I don't think he uses it for anything else.

That was a great parrot. Bags more personality then Darryn and a more extensive vocabulary than Amy.

Because he couldn't be selfish for once?

He should have been glad he made other people happy not crying because he couldn't get his own way.

At the end of the day you can't blame Darryn - this was part of the task and he knew he was being judged on whether he had a heart or not.
