Hey all! :wavey:
Wondering if you could help, I have 2 cats:cat: who are quite fussy eaters and only really like felix marinades to eat! any other food we try (cheaper food) they will leave and it gets wasted etc!
The food they like is about £4:50 for a box of 12 they get through a box between them in a day and half! so if you work it out its money money money!! Basically when we stock them up for as few weeks we are buying about 10 boxes! Surely someone knows an easier way lol! :conf:
My question is, do any of you have cat food/pet food delievered or bulk buy it where it is cheaper? if so where from? Which websites do you use etc? Any help would be greatly appriciated! :wavey:

They are cats, send them out to get their own food

They will eat the cheaper stuff when they get hungry. They arent going to starve themselves for the sake of being snobs.
I have never had a fussy pet.

Should put them on some dry food too. Works out MUCH cheaper.
Our cat has mostly dried food, but has a sachet of wet food a day so that shes still getting meat :)

This is really true Vicky, they won't be harmed for a day or 2 being really picky or not eating and serensilver if you put the food down but they don't eat it right off, take it away, keep it protected then put it out again later, once they are hungry they will not let you take it away again and will eat the lot.
Vicky's point as to dry food is another really good suggestion.

When they start to get hungry they will eat it - might take throughout the day for them to realise that the food they usually get is not coming any moment soon and they'll eventually eat it. My cat doesn't eat dry food anyway because he's quite old and had to have quite a few teeth taken out when he got cancer so can only eat wet food. Just try some of the cheaper stuff. To be honest I don't think it really makes too much difference what brand it is - clever marketing means that some brands can charge extortionate prices for something that is simply the horrible meat that is probably swept from the factory floors whereas the cheaper stuff is probably the exact same story but a little less heartache for your wallet. Animals will eat anything if they're hungry - it's natural instinct.

Was all in his head and brain and they said they could either put him down then and there or take a few of his teeth out where they had become infected and chop his ears off so that he could probably have another year at most. 3 years on and he's still going and showing no sign of stopping so we are really pleased as have had him since he was just a few weeks old!

My cat has half a tin and dry food. Used to give him sachets as a kitten but they cost a fortune. They seriously are just a rip off

No we are not, i checked with the vets and he said 4 pouches a day or 3 pouches and one lot of dry food so that works out at 12 pouches roughly between the two of them. If i was feeding them too much they would be fat slobs lol but they arent, they also run around a huge fort/field thing which is just at the end of our street burning off energy!:cat: and they will go running and exploring up there for hours a day ang night. :wavey:
Does anyone no any bulk buy places then?:conf:
