does anyone know what the actual official reason is? :conf:

is it scripted? they have not enough money? not enough staff? don't want to risk any controversy? what is the damn reason :hmph:

No official announcement and its not likely that there will be.

I guess they just don't consider it worth it financially, I really don't think it actually is scripted

According to the statement, Channel 5 believe that most people do not have time to watch the 24/7 live feed and think that social networking is instead the way forward for the show.

In a way I agree - as much as we hate to admit it on here as we're all massive fans, the majority of the viewers do not watch the live feed. Only a small portion of the biggest fans bother with it and so it might seem a bit of a waste of money to give it to us. However i'm sure a lot of people would appreciate a live feed in the evening/nighttime on 5* and i'm sure it would have got them more viewers than Teleshopping does. However, they don't want to give us any at all so we just have to deal with it.

It's not scripted, it's ridiculous to even suggest that it is. It's people living in a house as it's always been and Big Brother doesn't give them any sort of script to learn or situations to create.

I doubt we'll ever really get an answer to that. also they're not gonna disclose the voting % either. but's thats something else that they've changed, making it fresh & new so it must be good, right!? t***ers.

According to bobnot he was told by channel 5 when he phoned the channel:

"its because they want to take the show in a different direction and that doesnt include a live feed."

Horrible excuse.

What possible direction could that be? The one were viewers have no idea what's really happening?
