I don't like it, live shows feel lacklustre without her. Doubt she ever would now but i'd be happy for her to come back. Oh and I know some people don't like her but you can't deny she brought something to the show that Brian just isn't.

I openly said to my mum, 'I miss Davina now. :sad:' and she was like 'KAY!'

'Cus she was all pissed off at me for making her spill her wine - because when Sally was evicted, and the music played I like jumped up and screamed 'FOR ****** SAKE!' and she spilt her wine everywhere was like 'WHAT! :shocked:' and I'm like 'They're playing music..'

And she was all :suspect:.

I seriously thought I would miss Davina, but now I have got used to Brian, I think he is already comming on in leaps and bounds.

Davina was the only presenter for bb in my mind, until she decided not to return to the show. At that point My mindset changed and I think having Davina back now would just seem wrong.

This is Brian's show now, and I can't wait for him to really get into his stride :hugesmile:

I miss her more than anything. Thank god I have the entire back catalogue.

But she was Big Mother and she brought so much to the show that Brian just isn't. I doubt she will even watch the show as its not she same show she used to present.
Brian to me makes the show crude, camp and cheap which I'm not particularly enjoying.

Yeah, I think Brian's doing a good job, but I'm still missing Davina. I think I'm missing her more on the spin-off show than the main job, though.

I am with Ammi on this, Davina was really good in the early series, the last 2 to 3 though at least she went downhill massively, it was like her show and more time was taken up by her than the footage at times.

I don't miss her one bit, had this been 2006 and maybe I would have done, but she became stale, her eviction interviews became old pals acts, not relevant to the public opinion whatsoever.

She had definately come to the end of her BB road, it was time to change it from being her show and restore the elements of and refresh the Big Brother idea.That's happening and the show and Brian can only improve from now on.I really believe that.

Since I only picked up BBUK in series 10, and didn't know about Davina otherwise, I never grew tired of her -- and do miss her.

To be honest it needed a change. I do miss Davina like crazy but I am glad she didn't do this series because Channel 5 would probably make her lose all credibility like they have done with Marcus.

But the change they made (in my opinion) was the wrong one. Emma should have done the live shows and Brian the spin off. It would work better for scheduling/personal life as well, Emma has kids and a husband, Brian has no children/husband to care for. Emma would be more suited doing one slot a week and shuving (see what I did there) Dowling on the side. Plus Emma is better with making autocue/live shows believable where as Brian is a better people person.

I think that Brian was doing an ok job. He's no Davina but he wasn't bad either. Davina was great and Brian is different. The only thing that really disappointed me was the eviction interview. He didn't let the evictee answer properly and asked too many questions in a row.

People need to give Brian a break, this is his first series and he's under a lot of pressure from the viewers to impress. He'll get used to it and become less robotic than we see him now.
