just accept that although i may have repeated the post in different guises all im try to do is make a few quid for my dead friend charity, is that such a crime.

some get to live their lives and some waste it arguing on forums. thats the last im saying on the matter.

Look lad, I am not arguing, I am telling you that you are only using this forum for promotion, and SPAMMING it with you charity work....this forum is not used for this sort of practice....

I admire you for what you are doing but this forum is not the place to spam.

You've posted about this around twelve times in total now though. No-one's saying you can't make money for your charity but most people know about this auction now.

Posting about it over and over won't make people more likely to bid, only annoy them.

This forum is one of the most professional and highly stood forums around that does not allow any form of " bitching about others" and also does not allow SPAMMING of any sort......

Getting the word out and about is not my problem nor is it TIBB's problem....

I have no problem with charities.....but I dont come to this forum to read your spam...

do you know what LAD

im not all that bothered what you think to be quite honest
you have made it clear you are the master of all you survey
I agree i wouldnt want to see spamming all over a site but i hardly think one charity auction listing has upset the balance of this site. Yes its a great site and you are all passionate supporters of this site and its content but please just this once have a heart and help my friend scotts memory live a little.

I think perhaps the moderators of this site should have been contacted first, to ask permission to advertise this, as any legitimate charity auction would.

I also think calling someone a 'muppet' was the first instance of 'wasting time arguing on forums' in this thread. Maybe a charity would not use this stance?

I'm not saying 100% that this is not legitimate, but we get so many people coming on advertising things, it's hard to know what is true and what is not these days.

I suggest the best thing is to contact James or another member of admin, and explain the whole process, and see his/there suggestions. They are down to earth helpful people, who, if something legitimate comes there way, will either help, or maybe point you in the right direction.

If it is 100% legitimate, i'm sure we will all wish you well in raising as much money for charity as possible, but there was a better way to do it.

i did actually send an email but not heard anything yet, im not totally daft i did try ask before i went ahead.
Anyway thanks all for putting this thing straight and i hope we can all be friends on here, i have not posted in other threads because i was busy ansering these ones.
i realise all the mistakes made and it wont happen again
sorry junk man for calling you a muppett, they are kinda cute and cuddly and im sure u are in your own way..
sorry again all and i hope when re-listed on ebay the pants will do well, Dermot is such a nice bloke id love his item to do well for the charity.
anyone can check it out at the address its a proper i thought by adding the webname people would see this and what its all for. Im just a little touchy sometimes when i see his cause being attacked in any way as most of you would too im sure.
lets all get back to who's gonna win and wouldnt it be a good idea if they had 2 houses and we voted which one we liked the most.

Fair enough, I have checked the site, and it all looks good. Some people come on here and don't have no site or anything to back them up.

I'm not aware of what the fund is all about, but will look at it and educate myself if I can.

Why did eBay pull the auction? I don't know about all their rules, so I maybe missing something obvious.

Hope it gets back up soon then. From what I have heard eBay pull things at random as opposed to educated suspensions.
