Susan Boyle has announced the title and release date of her new album.

Someone To Watch Over Me is the singer's third LP, and is released on November 7.

Boyle announced the news on the semi-final results show of America's Got Talent, after performing a track from the record called 'You Have To Be There'.

The song was written by Abba legends Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus and is taken from their popular Swedish musical Kristina.

Of her performance on the show, she said: "I'm so pleased the audience enjoyed the song. I really loved performing that big number. I was also a little nervous introducing something new.

"America's Got Talent - it's where I started with my first album, so it was wonderful to be back and for the support."

The LP is described as a "diverse mix of music" inspired by the life stories of Boyle's fans who write letters to her.

Someone To Watch Over Me follows the star's first two albums I Dreamed a Dream and The Gift, which have sold over 14 million copies in 14 months and topped the charts in over 30 countries.

Will it be third time lucky for SuBo?

Its insane how many albums she sells just with cover versions. She's kind of in her own little Boyle world and probably has a very specific fanbase. And Im guessing not many of them download stuff for free.

Unlike Eric Morecambe, she can hit all the right notes in the right order but not necessarily with any character or conviction ..... :bored:

It annoys me that some say Diversity haven't done well since winning, they've done some TV appearances but mostly they've got their tours which easily sell out as they're that good an act and they are people who are better to see visually, but not everyone is able to go to their concerts of course:D.

I read this thread title at the same time as the Mel B Gives Birth one and read it as Susan Boyle Gives Birth :yuk:

But, good luck to her. I hope she has success with it. :D
