View Full Version : That moment when Pamela was evicted to no music...

...for about 7 Seconds.

When Pamela was evicted yesterday she came out and it was quiet.

Like the crowd didn't even cheer, it was kind of like - they were also expecting some Ke$ha song to be blasted over the place.

But nothing.

And then everyone was cheering and I sat there and just thought;

'They listened to us, the producers listened - once again we can enjoy evictions with boos or cheers and not Dizzee Rascal in our ears.'

But no.

It seemed the dolt who plays the music was asleep or something, and then randomly - Katy Perry just came on when Pamela was halfway down the steps..

I mean why do they do this?

No one likes it.
It's not amazing.
It RUINS the atmosphere, makes the show seem more camp than it already is.

And the cringiest thing is, the songs are always badly edited - like it would just come on out of the blue at a certain point in the song. :idc:

Yeah I was thinking "Wow for once they've actually done something everyone wants ", then the music came blasting out :joker:

Wonder if it was a mistake or if they're leaving it a few seconds every week?

Yeah.. atleast we had like 5 seconds to hear the reaction. I would prefure to have zero music at all though..

The more things they set up the more things can go wrong. Just do it more natural.

At least we got to hear abit of the crowd reaction, i'm hoping this was done purposefully and not somebody missing their cue, we'll find out tonight. i would much prefer no music though!

Can the crowd even see the moment the doors open? It looks like the stairs would obscure the perspective from the crowd's angle.

sounds deliberate to me. Not difficult to flick a switch at the right moment...even for ch5.

Some of the crowd are raised on the stands/tiers/thingys so I guess they'd be able to see

Also I liked that we could hear crowd reaction at first, but even if it was deliberate to leave the music til a few seconds later, it seemed really sudden and out of place when it did start, so I reckon this was a mistake

Well its better then if the music started straight away at least we can hear the crowd for a few seconds

Yeah this was really annoying me before but they've delayed it now till they start walking down the steps, much better! :xyxwave:

It enables the evictee to hear all the boos, so that they don't feel too self-satisfied.

My God, Bobby is going to get booed pretty badly unless he raises his game in the next few days! ;)
