You people need to stop blaming Channel 5 for how much BBUK has changed!
It is not them that make the show, it's Endemol!
I am annoyed with people moaning about the changes and blaming Channel 5, when they have nothing to do with how the show is made.

Of course they have something to do with it. They most certainly have something to do with live feed being cancelled too

Surely Channel 5 commission the show from Endemol. Channel 5 would commission something that would be suitable for their channel, they would never leave the final decisions to a production company.

But Endemol are the one's that make and produce the show, That's how TV normally works, the TV Channels buy contracts to air shows on there channel, and then the owners of the shows produce and make the shows for the Channel

What do you mean "that's how TV normally works"? You clearly don't really know how TV normally works.

Thats true but its the TV channel that allocate timing slots etc, therefore the decision to have live feed or not is down to the transmitting station.
Also they do sit down during negotations and decide what sort of things would be suitable for the particular target audience/time slot.
TV stations arent in the habit of sitting down and saying we need a one/two hour show for transmission every day , heres the money go fill your boots. They dont give carte blanche to production companies.

And like I just said...

Channel 5 would commission a show from a production company. They have input. They have to air it on their channel, so it would have to be suitable. They don't leave all the decisions to the production company.

Channel 5 is responsible for Big Brother. It is responsible for commissioning it from Endemol. If someone sues over Big Brother, who do you think they sue? If someone complains to Ofcom, who do they complain about? Channel 5 or Endemol? Think about it for a minute before you reply.

If someone sues that would be in Endemols hands. It's in Channel 5's hands for complains etc

Depends what the lawsuit is for. Both Endemol and Channel 5 could be sued for example in the event of a defamation of character lawsuit. As Channel 5 is the program airer, they have the greater responsibility of what is aired as being suitable for public broadcast. Endemol as the producer are responsible for health and safety of contestants etc.

Yes Desmond set a Strict Budget Deal
Endemol sacked the Live feed team
Its that simple.
Desmond could have paid the bit more for Live Feed
but his Strict Budget Deal meant Endemol had to sack 30 or more staff.

No
Desmond sets a Strict budget
he never will back down.
Endemol told him that live feed was not needed
they did that in order to sack staff
all for their own future.

C5 are in complete control of the editing and Endomol just tell them what can legally go in the show this year.it seems that C5 are very amatuer at this sort of thing which makes me think that BB is too big for them to hadle.
C5 made the decision to air the show how they like with /without live feed too.It is them that are to blame for this mess .
Endomol must be very desperate to allow Bb tobe ptrayed like this.In other countries where revamps have taken place the live feed remains and the format is basically the same so why have the UK version settled for this

Endemol have mismanaged their business over the years, apparently they have a large debt. Their manipulation of the show resulting in fewer people voting probably didn't help. Also their paying people millions at the top of the business didn't help either. It was like they thought it was a cash cow they could milk forever and depend on a loyal audience whatever they did. Of course CH4 may have got them to cut live feed for BB10 because they were running scared of the tabloids and wanted more control of what the audience saw, but they did back down the following year at least.
