(no complaints about how there's no live feed. we know and agree but seriously you're boring us all to tears with it)
channel 5 being channel 5, i didn't think it'd be as good but i've been pleasantly surprised. i think the editing's better. i like how they go back to things that happened the previous day so you're reminded.
they're putting more effort into the tasks too. when channel 4 knew they were going to end it, they weren't putting much effort at all into the tasks. the shopping dash task with Jedward is probably one of the best tasks since i started watching (bb5?)
the music adds to the show too, though they do overdo it a bit sometimes.
looking forward to next week.

Yes, I am. Also though only 1 negative as to live feed or more footage, not for me but for the people who are missing it greatly, otherwise I would congratulate Channel 5 first on saving BB for real BB fans and also for this CBB series which has been better than most of them.

i think the real reason is they probably couldn't afford it. i'm not thatt bothered anyway.

Yet they can afford to (apparently) spend hundreds of thousands on getting Jedward to go in the house and spend £400,000 increasing the prize fund?

Liking it so far, Will reserve real judgement for the normal series though. Never been too interested in the celeb versions.

Not sure what C5 has to do with it? Surely they are just buying in the programme from Endemol?

I'm really enjoying this much more than I thought I would.

True, but its easier to refer to it as Channel 5's programme as it differentiates in a simpler way.

I realise that, but the implication of this thread is that C5 have significant input.
I think they've done an excellent job. I thought it was gonna be a gradual deterioration as we had been seeing with Channel 4 the last few years but it's been refreshed and revamped just enough but not too much so it's not changed beyond recognition. So excited for the normal series now!

For me it's just continued in the same vein the recent few years of channel 4 series have been. CBB7 and BB11 had some moments that showed some spark left in the programme but other than that it's getting worse. Either that or I'm just bored with the whole format TBH.

i think its still in the same line as when C4 had it, nothing big has happened in CBB to keep me hooked :(

I hate what C5 has done to Big Brother, the highlights are edited like a soap opera, and I suspect the publics votes dont really count anymore as an entertainer like Tara would not lose to Sweatboy and Psychocount.
And Brian Dowling is awful.
