It just makes things awkward. You can't re-ask questions that may have been misunderstood, you can't let people finish as you need to get the next question in. It's a tense situation anyway and this is another instance where CH5 have just got it all wrong with this series. I know they want to do it on the cheap, but BB just doesn't work well like that.

Not trying to defend them. Cause I agree.
But we get an extended interview on BOTS, and they bringing back the split show for the main one.

I don't think they are rushed, Biran could ask fewer questions and just get longer answers to them maybe but he gets the questions in and I feel I learn more from the evicted housemate now rather than the old pals act Davina did with them in her last 2 series.
Really not asking or challenging them on anything the public had maybe concerns as to their tme in the house.
Then as pointed out above, there is a longer interview with them on BBBOTS, so for me it's fine, Brian does brilliantly in the time he uses to interiew them.

BOTS is like Big Mouth though and is very different. It won't be a serious one on one interview, instead it is more chaotic and probably with insults thrown in as well.
And they are very obviously rushed. The questions are ok, but the rushing of them really nullifies that and means he won't respond so much to the person interviewed and that he just has to move quickly onto the next question all the time.
