I thought that was a strange thing to say, considering Bobby speaks quite nicely and Amy sounds like a slack-jawed ******.

Yeah, Bobby doesn't have to say the word 'like' or 'honey' or 'babes' in every sentence.

Exactly. As a foreigner, I love Bobby's way of speaking because I don't have to strain myself in order to understand him. Paddy might be hard to understand at times but at least he makes up sentences which is something Amy (and Tara for that matter) is not able to do.
