I have stolen this thread idea from another board, but, nonetheless, I think it's a good idea.

Rank the winners of Big Brother from best to worst. You can use any criteria. Gameplay, how much liked them, etc.

I didn't count season 1, because I didn't see it. I did a little bit of it on gameplay, and some on how much I liked the housemate. Maggie, for example, played a good game, but she was boring and pretentious, so I ranked her last.

In terms of strategy:

Amazing Winners
1. Drew - Probably a really controversial choice, but he was never permanantley nommed, he was barely ever the target and everybody wanted him in the game until near the end. Whether he even realised it or not, he played an amazing game.
2. Dan - Definatley a season I need to rewatch, but he was aweeeesome.
3. Will - I actually think he played better in BB7 because of his game in the first 2-3 weeks of BB2.
4. Maggie - The control she had over not only her alliance but sometimes the entire house was astonishing.
5. Hayden - It's hard to rate Hayden because he had absolutley nothing to play against, but he played pretty solid, just nothing eye opening IMO.
6. Jun - The queen of floating, but had she been against anyone else in the final two, she'd have been fooked.

OK winners
7. Lisa - I actually think she's underrated as a player. She didn't deserve to win against Danielle or Jason but I think she had a legitimatley good strategy.
8. Adam - Honestly can't remember his game, but IIRC it was really similar to Dans in a way (making Ryan do his dirty work, similar to Dan/Memphis), so he may actually be much higher on rewatch.

Less than OK winners
9. Boogie - I kindof felt like the jury were hypocritical for criticizing Erika for riding on coatails when Boogie pretty much did the same thing.
10. Dick - Rigging kind of ruins him as a winner, but I still think he's a fair enough player. I'd have prefered a Daniele win though.
11. Jordan - I don't think she's as dumb of a player as people make her out to be, but she's easily the worst winner IMO.

Buuuuuut in terms of how much I like them:

Drew chose winning the game over love, by choosing to go the final with Cowboy instead of his love interest Daine. Jordan would never pick winning over Jeff. Drew is the better player of the two, in my opinion.

It's extremely hypocritical of me saying that, because I put Jordan over Drew on my list, but that's because I found Drew to be very boring and vanilla. And because Jordan was decently entertaining in season 11.

I watched it last month. Its the most boring season out of all the BB's. Especially after Jase was voted out.

That's a fair point. I do kindof think Jordans BB11 game is a bit underrated (ignoring my earlier outburst LOL) but I don't feel she made a single move by herself. Her game pretty much consisted solely of riding coat-tails and getting helped out by Grodner, whereas Drew made moves and was on the right side at the right time all the time.

I honestly think, that in the future, people need to realize, that being popular with the public is a PART of the gameplay, because if you wanna carry favourite with Grodner, if you want the twists to go your way, then you should think about that before you go into the house, and that should be part of your game play. Because the producers ARE part of the game. imo.

AND to be fair to Allison, they've had An America's choice cash prize for how many seasons now?? So people should know by now that you have to be playing the game both for the fellow houseguests, aswell as the producers and the viewing audience.

This is not an EASY game. It has a lot of different angles.

Big Brother is a HUMAN CHESS GAME. It's not meant to be easy.
If you wanna see someone get a million bucks by just being an idiot, it doesn't need to be FAIR, if you want FAIR then watch deal or no deal, or red or black.

Big Brother US isn't meant to be fair, it's meant to be a game of SKILL, unlike every other game show in the world. BBUS says from the very beginning, we WILL change the rules all the time, expect the unexpected!

BBUS is NOT a game of LUCK or randomness, like all the other game shows, that's what makes it great.

When has BBUS ever claimed to be fair? THAT's exactly what i love about it. BBUS has said from the very beginning, there are no rules, BB can change the rules at any times. The minute you think you know the rules, the rules will change. No one out-smarts Big Brother.

That's what makes it Big Brother and truly Orwelian.

Once again you're putting words in my mouth. I never said that it's always a total fix. Some seasons don't have much rigging, some seasons, like this one, have a lot of rigging. The more rigging, the less satisfying the winner. BB8, BB11, and BB13 are the three most rigged seasons. It's not a coincidence that, therefore, Dick and Jordan, in my opinion, are the two worst winners. And we'll see who wins this season.

Meh, they're my top three and are pretty close in my eyes.

I wouldn't say Drew was of an Adam caliber. He won many HoH's and so forth had to make his own decisions whereas Adam follows everybody elses decisions and takes people he certainly can't beat to the end.

But Drew never needed to make a big, elaborate move because he always with the right people at the right time. Even so, I'd say getting Diane to go against her alliance at the F5 for him was a great move.

He's not the most exciting player, hell, he probably barely realised how good a game he played, but IMO he's the best winner.
