Nope, the statement for CBB said people no longer have time for live feed and social networking is the way forward. From the sounds of things they have no intention of ever bringing it back.

Really gutted about there being no LF, a few friends & family have been asking me if there no LF for the normal series, these people dont tend to use social networking sites, so they hadn't heard of there was no LF or not, these people im talking about, dont watch the LF as much as i do, but like to dip in & out of it from time to time, so it proves even casual viewers still like LF & still miss it.

Twitter is seen, by the BB producers, as the "modern" equivalent of Live Feed.
Of course it isn't, but there y'go.

Its crap without live feed im bored to death of it at the moment and to be honest i dont think it matters how good the housemates are that they put in it will still be a fail if they dont let us see any of it.

I agree live feed is the essence of BB and if C5 think that one sentence every half an hour on twitter is a replacement then they are sadly deluded.

Sadly funding stopped dead
before that.
I would pay £8 pounds a week for 24/7 feed
as it would get us out of the world we are in.

You'd pay £8 a week? Really? I'd probably only pay £8 for a full series live feed.

Yes you would have to pay High
to make Desmond and Poxy Endemol Set it Up.
You have to pay for the Staff and Legal team checkers

Perhaps my memory is playing tricks but did we not have to pay £14.99 for LF on a previous series of BB?

Some got it free. I paid for mine for BB11, and would pay again for the next one rather than try guesswork as to the goings on in the house through a few miserable highlights.

Yes but that was a Month
Now it would be £8 a week
to fully fund it

Oh, I thought that was for the whole series. If it was for a month, you are probably right.
So................ who would pay £80 for LF for the whole of BB12? :)

I'm pretty sure mine was for longer than a month, in fact I could have used it for UBB also. I stopped watching after Ben got evicted, and offered mine to anyone else who wanted to watch, but no one seemed interested :conf: Just after I got mine, the price went down to £7 I think it was? which made me wish I had waited just a little longer to pay for it.

I would Whatever is needed
for Live Feed
If they knew many would pay high
it could be brought in.
They need to make a Profit and pay the Extra Staff needed

Viewers will be able to access the webstream for 49p for a day pass, £1.99 for a week or £14.99 for the whole 13-week run

I think even though they have said no to LF, i think we should still keep up the pressure, with emails & phone calls, im on there FB page & every time they post something i just mention LF & say im not interested in little 2min clips, just to let them know i'm still angry about not having LF.

i never really watched lf but i do get where everyone is coming from. i always come on here and of course when there was lf if something exctiting had happened then u knew it was worth staying up 4 the highlight show which imo on @ 10pm is too bloody late and i have to watch the repeats the next day. get it on @ 9pm

No, we're not getting it, they won't change their mind now. Bastards

What I don't get is why they don't give us LF.
They know perfectly well everyone wants it and the clips are useless and not everyone likes the edited highlights. They're just losing a lot of viewers and what's the point of them even taking over BB?! Surely they want it to be successful and have viewers. But they need to do it the correct way and listen to us. How the hell will not having LF help the show? I mean yes they can edit and manipulate it but that still won't help viewers and at the end of the day that's very important.

I got it and it was well worthwhile, able to see UBB as well. Saw the Save and Replace tasks live and other stuff as well.

Visual is still better than text to most people. BB should probably bring it back to keep everyone happy but then again, does it make economic sense with only 86k who used it last year.

I want to make my own decision on them without having about 3 minutes of what they get up to a day

Yeah but this BB. Each episode is getting 2.5 million viewers or something. Only 86 thousand people compared to 2 million isn't a lot if you know what i mean.

Yes but you would think the chance to more than quadruple some of the viewing figures on 5* would be something they would jump at they only broadcast shows from 1pm to midnight at the moment.
Plus it would help inject some much needed buzz to the online fansites and forums and get people talking about it again the 86,000 figure is people that wanted it enough to pay for it out of their own pocket those figures would be a lot higher if it was free on 5* the vast majority of live feed viewers are more than likely the take it or leave it type viewers that watch it if its there but really werent bothered enough to pay £15

I used to like having LF on late at night in the background. It's like mood music or... a gentle indoor water fountain from argos.

Probably won't bother with live feed as they know they have brain dead housemates selected...Along with brain dead editors and brain dead task planners......

86k households not people may have signed up for live feed last year which obviously adds up to a lot more potentially watching.jedward fans woud have signed this time i think too.BB12 is going to be very hard indeed even for those who dont watch much live feed or none at all as we dont know these people and will have nothing to talk about them either. If the standard of editing and quality of content remains then we wont get much info from the main show either.
No chance this year. I won't be watching without it & prob wouldn't even if they did, really hating the C5 style.

i would also pay for live feed. dont understand ch 5 they have the chance to build bb back to what it once was. live feed is the backbone of it all. i remember when we had the option of watching different rooms. i get bored with 1 hour a night. i dont do facebook or twitter. 12/13 weeks is a long time to keep you intrested if you have no live feed. we all ch 4 and ch 5 are dealing with the programme no differently. its us the die hard fans that keep it going they should be doing what they can to keep us
