Like Ive said many times...they do not have the fans to win anything. Illusions and delusions.
I was suckered into thinking they'd win because of the silly odds but really I should have stuck with my instinct and common sense. Theyre just not winners!
X-Factor : No thank you.
Eurovision : Nah, tarra.
Big Brother : Not on my watch.

Just like in the charts they were meant to top, people overestimate their popularity..

Louis is good at making his acts seem far more popular than they really are. Sadly, some are easily fooled.

Coming 3rd out of 10 is a good result, odds on favourites rarely win BB anyway. It's what I love about BB, that the winners often are not the runaway favourites.
Paddy is a well deserved winner but I was disappointed kerry finished 2nd.

If they did they must be supremely good actors! They went in to have FUN. End of.
There's no prize to be won... unlike X-factor or Eurovison. There's nothing at stake.
They seemed to have had a good time. :)

Was obvious Verne wasn't going to win he hardly featured in the h/l shows and wasn't even bookies favourite.. or top of the polls

and to say there's no prize money is baloney bollocks
Winning always gets you more work and publicity. Worth far more than any prize money. Now it's obvious theyre not as popular as some people thought.

His own show on C5 maybe? Something to do with his gypsy estate or something... C4 were supposed to be cutting him out of their show remember

he's no less taleted than them
he can do PA's, other reality shows, release a book. It's just taken his profile to another level. He's still z-list like Jedward but he was sub z-list before this.

Not really. We will agree to disagree. I think Jedward will be around Paddy in terms of fame.

I think fame can be addictive especially if you're an exhibitionist personality. He had a taste of it with gypsy and obviously wants more.

If they were told anything at all they were told they would get half million quid to go in, have fun and get some publicity.
Probably sounded like a reasonable deal to them. ;)

I agree, also they got to the final with the other 7, in CBB that's the main target, get to the final meaning you have been in from the start to the last day.
There are no prizes as such, maybe some work comes or mag deals but celebrities have likely work waiting for them anyway.Jedward have a tour now to prepare for at least, arranged while they were in the house, the media may be more interested in Kerry again and Paddy will likely be sought after for an underdog story that people will love to read so much.He did really good in the house.
CBB is very different from BB generally in that there is that prize of money at the end of BB whereas on CBB the payments are ssured from day one anyway.

I have read that Jedward are returning to the X-Factor... at the Judges Houses stage, helping Louis to choose acts.
So in two years they gone from being contestants, to making decisions on the future of other singers, on the same show. Not bad going!
With their tours and private events etc they are going to be busy boys. They are very likely booked up throughout 2012, so I don't suppose CBB will actually have much effect, although it may help Louis to demand ever higher fees for their services. Lol! ;)

I never saw one paper this morning when I was out that described Jedward as spastics.
It's not a nice term to use and people who have that condition would be likely very upset at it being treated so lightly,That paper should be reported.(I help out with an organisation that helps support disabled people and they are very interested in which paper this was). I will have to find that paper.
After seeing your post,I rang the store I go to to check again and they haven't seen any paper describing them as spastics either. In fact they even doubted a paper would,a credible one anyway.

Its a perfectly legitimate term and quite apt. If not that then mongs, leprechauns, cretins etc
