Knew that title would get your attention. Anyway :

Okay so talking about Mr. Chuck Palahniuk [Fight Club author] got me to looking him up and I discovered this. It's a short story he reads at various book tours and events that has to date caused about 80 people to pass out at it's readings.

I haven't listened to it yet. I'll be the first to admit I'm not made of steel with this stuff. If it was printed word it might be easier.

I've read it, it's in his book Haunted. It's pretty bad. I'm not usually disgusted or scared by things I read, but this did it for me. It's probably worse listening to it, so I don't know if I can brave it again.

Nobody is expected to hold their breath for twenty one minutes. He only says that to set the atmosphere. I would have thought that was fairly obvious.

Looking around the internet most people who passed out certainly didn't have it happen from holding their breath.
