Have seen it before but this documentary is excellent.
Lol.. sorry! I forgot about it myself.. only remembered when bb finished.
David Gilmour! He's always just been cool as ****.. still is, and always will be.
Great tune to end it with. Old Gilmour with the long hair looks so wrong.

-shall catch up on iPlayer-

I think young Gilmour looks like a cross between DiCaprio and Jack nicholson
He looked cool as a cucumber during the 70's.

One of the greatest bands of all time. Will have to watch this on iplayer later.
Jesus Waters is totally channeling John Lennon in that Arnold Layne video.

Cymbaline. Song about a nightmare. Apparently.
That was super duper. I wish I was inebriated in some way now. Any way. Need to put them on the iPOD and have a long walk about tomorrow.

Didn't even know BB4 existed. No wonder they use it for shows like this
Yeah it's not as if they're the same Pink Floyd that have sold 200 million albums worldwide and have the third highest selling record in the history of popular music.
"shows like this" hmm, do you.... infact I'm not even going to bother replying. :bored:
I wouldn't worry about him. He seems to actively enjoy showing off how vacuous and unintelligent he is and appears to somewhat relish in it.

Well it should be on BBC1 or BBC2 then
Well it should be on BBC1 or BBC2 then
Not if you understand how television works, it shouldn't. No.

Never seen that clip that good quality either.
Money.. one of the only Floyd sings that I have a serious aversion to.
I understand Television & BBC4 no one watches :laugh3:
It attracts a niche audience. Perfect for what is happening here.
Virtually all of these shows have been on either BBC 1 or 2 at some point in the past. This is just a special night for them getting replayed marathon style. Why on earth would you take up BBC 1 or 2 - the two biggest channels in the country that need to cater to a massive mainstream audience with varied tastes - with a single band for the whole night. It's absurd.
You have no idea how television works. You could probably mess up a cup of coffee if you tried hard enough.
BBC4 is the new BBC2 ....

A subtitled Danish drama starring a woman who dresses mainly in wellies, cagouls and patterned knitwear doesn't sound like a sure-fire ratings winner. But The Killing, or Forbrydelsen, the latest addition to BBC4's library of classy European crime imports, took the channel by surprise earlier this year when it left viewers gripped – possibly even obsessed – with the exploits of super-cop Sarah Lund.
Staying in on a Saturday night for two hours of dark, rainy shots of Copenhagen had never appeared to be such a brilliant idea. Danish seemed a must-learn language. Expensive, chunky jumpers were fashion essentials.
Now fans will undoubtedly cancel their social lives again for the return of Lund (Sofie Gråbøl) this autumn, as she embarks on a second adventure sure to be dotted liberally with the red herrings that made the first series such brilliant – and at times frustrating – viewing.
Forbrydelsen won a Bafta for best international programme earlier this year

They're showing Live at Pompeii later. :amazed: Hopefully not the silly 'Director's cut' version with the added space footage. :s
I have no care at all for either Brick In The Wall pt. II or Money. I know it sounds totally wankerish but they're far too commercial.
Final Cut is a hole of an album.
I lost interest in Floyd after SoS - they became far too pretentious for my taste .... :yuk:
