Which do you prioritise when buying clothing?

(thought of this because I recently bought a pair of shoes I really like but are a bitch to get on every time)

Comfort. If something looks amazing but is so uncomfortable I don't like wearing it.

As far as shoes are concerned, from the female perspective - LOOKS..... everytime and without fail. We buy the most uncomfy shoes - only for their looks. In fact, I will go so far as to say that I've worked outfits around a pair of killer heels !!!

if i'm bombing about the house - it's comfort.

It looks like I'm following you around Pyramid, but honestly, I'm not.

I too have based outfits around a pair of killer heels... it's sometimes just got to be done. Who cares if you can't walk far in them if they look great. Smart for work, extra smart for going out, all other times I'm a jeans and tee shirt kinda gal.

If you're wearing "killer" heels, chances are you won't be doing too much walking around anyway...

You clearly know not a lot about women and their killer heels. Believe me, I can run without problem in mine, never mind walk for miles.

Feel free, just bring wine. White or rose please!!!

They are all housed in ship shape fashion, in their boxes with a picture of what's inside....makes it so much easier !!! :)

I have FAR too many shoes. About 60+ last time I checked. They are 'my thing'.

Ermmm, I wont buy clothes if they don't look nice but I wont buy clothes if they're uncomfortable so I guess I don't prioritise either.. :)

I wouldnt buy anything comfortable and ugly or anything gorgeous and uncomfortable.

If I'm shopping clothes just to stay at home or go to the grocery store or something I'll prioritise comfort and if I'm shopping clothes for a night out then I'll obviously want to look my best.

I buy shoes for function and comfort, running shoes for running, hiking boots for hiking and walking, trainers for dossing about it and proper shoes for most other occassions - work weddings funerals etc.

I am looking good. On slob days its obvs comfort but other than than I don't care what something feels like if I look good enough then I would wear it.

Looking good. Though, I've never felt particularly uncomfortable in my best outfits. Good looking clothes that are well made tend to feel pretty comfortable, though I think it's also that I wouldn't feel comfortable not looking good.

Well if I chose comfort over looks, I'd spend my whole life in a jogging suit and slippers, which really isn't a good look.. so I definitely go for looks.

I've never actually been in this situation. All my clothes are like my style and comfortable.
