Okay, so I got a new memory card for my phone because its too slow and needs more space. I was wondering if I can keep all my pictures and videos on my phone even with a new memory card?
I've tried putting the new memory card in my phone and all the pictures are gone, so what do I do? :bawling:

You will need to back up your phone with old card on your computer and then resync the whole thing with the new card. Otherwise you lose all the stuff.

Your photos and stuff are on the old card, get a card reader and transfer them over to your computer, then think them out a bit and transfer back onto the new card.
What may seem like a daft question but is it a larger card?

never mind, leave the old card in the phone connect phone to computer, transfer over photos and vids, disconnect phone switch it off, then change cards.
Does the new card have bigger storage capacity?

By the way it probably won't make it run faster.

Funny old thing thats what sales people do, sell things.
Depends when you say its slow what you mean by slow,
accessing files(vids music and photos) on the card, yeah it probably will make a bit of difference if your old card was full to capacity.
send texts faster, connect quicker when you are phoning, connect quicker to the net or send messages in facebook faster, ring quicker, thats a no.

It might make it run a tiny bit faster than it is now but still slower than the phone is supposed to be in the first place/when you first opened it. Normally the change in speed isn't even noticeable.
Was the other card completely full?

this is the most stressful crap i have ever gone through.
some photos have the same names (cause they are numbers) and because I have uploaded my phone to my computer at different times, all my pictures are in different folders. So when i try and put them all in one folder, they want to replace each other. ****ing piss take
