0:10, top right-hand corner - the close up of the barking, snarling dog! I just adore that, it proper emphasizes the whole "no escape". I know this will be voted random thread of the century, but that dog, the camera angle, it being so aggressive is just fierce!

I only recently noticed the dog - it is a great addition. These titles, even though they aren't as manic as the other series, REALLY cement how scary Big Brother was to the housemates in those days. Mind you, He wasn't scary to the housemates AFTER this series. :P

I'm surprised nobody didn't even notice the dog. I've always known.

The BB5 opening titles weren't the best. I much preferred BB6 and BB7's. The BB5 one was just an eye zooming in and out with the dogs barking in the corner and the BB5 eye going over the human eye.

Didn't the BB5 titles have a hidden message?

They had a competition on BBLB to crack the code or something.

I always thought that was BB7. Wasn't there rumours before BB7 launched that there was hidden messages in the logo. Also in the opening titles, there's words which go by really fast.

I think Davina made a reference to it in the BB7 launch.

I don't remember that one.

I just remember Dermot revealing the hidden message was the numbers which flashed up in the corner corresponded to letters of the alphabet. Let me search for it.

According to this thread the message was: "Who Said Life Was Fair?"

Speaking about the BB7 hidden messages, I remember this being released prior to the BB7 launch. Not sure if it means anything but

I remember when Dawn was ejected one of the papers had a headline with "The Dawn Vinci Code". :joker:

Da Vinci (and Dan Brown tbh) got some good promo during the summer of 2006!
