Would it put you off their music? Like say if you skipped up to you fave star and they casually told you to "**** off" would it spoil listening to them again?

I'm not talking about what you hear in the papers and that, but if it was a personal experience.

Nope.. I can understand how annoying it must be for them having loads of people they dont know run up to them expecting him to be all happy and nice

Nope... my favourite artist is bitter and quite self absorbed and I love his music.

I'd probably have a hard time enjoying their music again... :(

Not at all. Over the years I've grown to dislike what Madonna is turning into, I still love her music. I doubt a personal experience would change that, all it would do would solidify my current thoughts on her, not her talent/music.

It would turn me off them yeah, big time. After the experience Gav had at The Guns'n'roses concert last year, I find myself not feeling the same way about them anymore

Yeah I think it would actually. It must be really disappointing to realise somebody you admire is actually an arsehole.

Maia

Yes. It'd be really unnecessary for them to be like that. I'd be absolutely shocked if Pixie Lott was like that because I've never seen her be anything but sweet and kind.

That's how I feel, I'd be turned off their music.

Not in the slightest.

I dont really 'admire' the people who make the music though, I just enjoy listening to the music.

This is probably why I would be unaffected if they were dickheads :/

It wouldn't matter to me if I really admired them as such or not, If someone tells me to **** off for just saying hello to them or what ever, I would think of that and get angry everytime I heard them singing and it would change the way I listened to their music and make me not enjoy it, I think.

I was gonna say yes but then I like Chris Brown's music despite him being a prick, and the same for someone like Dappy as well, although maybe it would if they were an arsehole to me personally

I'd never have the courage to go up to a singer I liked.

I'm not sure.

The closest thing that's happened to me is - last Summer when I fought Sam Pepper's corner constantly on here and stuff and was a loyal fan of his and then he got out of the house and threatened to take me to court, the stupid ******ing moronic wanker.

So now whenever I watch back on BB11 I just cringe at him and see him in a different light.

I imagine it may of been the same with music?

I guess it depends on how good they were, I mean if a Pendulum Member told me to ****** off I would still orgasm whenever I hear their songs anyway.

It's happened with me, I met a singer and found the act to be very impolite to say the least.

If I liked the music,no, it wouldn't change my view of their music but I would never go to their concert again or attempt to meet them again.

Actually if I was minding my own business and a singer I liked walked up to me and told me to **** off, I don't think I'd listen to them any more.

Yeah but, there's no reason he's be an arsehole to you. I've heard he's meant to be pretty good with fans. That's the thing with tabloid persona and real life. People who are built up to be saints are probably the least down to earth and have the least time for their fans

If Pharoahe Monch called me an arsehole, it'd probably be the highlight of my month.

Depends really on what you already think of them.

Like, R. Kelly is my favourite artist both musically and personally, and it'd probably annoy me a bit if that happened yeah.

But then Kanye doing it wouldn't bother me in the slightest, because I already know he is a bit of a tit.

But yeah I don't think either way it would put me off their music, just them as a person.

Billy Corgan regularly calls his fanbase pieces of ****. I still think he's awesome.
