X Factor contestant Terry Winstanley has criticised Louis Walsh for not spending enough time with his category.
The Over 25s judge was seen on last week's episode telling his acts that he wants to "get the best out of them", but Winstanley claims they were left to fend for themselves at Judges' Houses.
"Louis doesn't give a toss about us, he was useless," Winstanley told The People. "We saw him three times - when he *welcomed us to Barcelona, when we sang and for his final decision. He gave us no advice, no inspiration at all. That's not a mentor.
"I sent him loads of emails, and barely heard a few words back. When he eventually *replied on email about our song choices, he told us to make our own *decision about what we wanted to sing. Not exactly what he's said in front of the cameras."
Walsh was helped at Judges' Houses by Sinitta, who is said to have replaced Adele at the last minute.
Winstanley continued: "Sinitta joined Louis to listen to our songs, but she barely said anything at all. It was very obvious the two of them had no time for each other. It was pathetic. The X Factor should have got rid of Louis and kept Dannii Minogue, or even Cheryl [Cole]."
He concluded by saying that contestants are put under immense pressure and forced to film from 6.30am to 3am "because it makes great TV".

Actually, they don't have a great deal to do with the acts at the Judges houses, Louis is always praised highly for his mentoring and caring about his acts.
This came from the guy who forgot the words of his song at boot camp, he wasn't much better at the Judge's house stage either.
He can sing but is more like a pub singer and I find, to me anyway, that he is very uncomfortable to watch perform too.

Although he's probably bitter, I do agree with him that Louis is a useless judge.

Putting through Goldie originally was a bit of a p**s take, she looks like she should be doing tricks with ping pong balls

:joker:Well she's gone though so won't be in the finals, although she is way over the top I could see her getting away with doing Tina Turner type songs, she had something. She would never have won though,no way at all.

I don't see how he could be useless, Jedward were his band and they've done well.. It's the x-factor and not just about musical ability but about well.. the x-factor

i agree with this
I've no idea who the guy is but you have to bear in mind that Girls Aloud said the same thing about Louis - as soon as Popstars: The Rivals finished he didn't help them out at all and they made their own way through the pop industry, somehow, and he himself admitted that in later years. I don't know if that's just his personality, his busy schedule or what the deal is, but he does have a reputation for not having much time for his acts on reality TV shows.

Actually I typed it in on google there is an article where John says he has no story so didn't think they put were going to put him through for that reason. Also criticised how once they are rejected at bootcamp it's a ticket home and ta-ta. No real advice for them thereafter.
He IS awful but Terry is probably just bitter a bit

To be fair to Louis he doesn't have to mentor anyone during the judges houses stage. They're there to impress him.
But regarding him being useless I see no lies there.

Gotta feel sorry for Louis really, for the 2nd year in a row he has basically no chance of being the winning mentor. Also last year he could have had Matt Cardle if it was Over 25s aswell, then again Louis would probably have ruined him. Dannii did really well with Matt.

Bitter, although i've always liked Louis as a judge.
Louis has the experience and he's mad some silly choices before but I still believe he's been forced by the producers before to put certain people through and I don't believe that all the judges make their own choices.
Maybe i'm just too suspicious of the producers motives now?

I think Louie is a fantastic manager. With a CV that boasts Boyzone, Westlife, Girls Aloud and Jedward - these acts have grossed millions whilst under the guidance of Louie. It's a shame that he is not such a good judge. He seems to be looking for a new Jedward in the form of Goldie (or a new Wagner). It undermines his credibility as a manager.
Look at the success of Simon? Zig and Zag? Robson and Jerome? Even Leona only had the one number 1 in America and is now struggling to have a hit (even though she has earned more than £20 million so far), but in general, Simon isn't that great at finding talent either. Talent that lasts.
The best ever comment from Simon was to Carrie Underwood on week 4/series 4 of American Idol: "not only do I predict that you will win this competition, you will go on to sell more records than any other previous winner of American Idol" - great shout!

I doubt Louis would really be pressured by the producers, I personally just think that is what he chooses because he realises these wacko acts can go reasonably far for him. More than a talented Carolynne for example as there are younger girls with better voices than her, so he needs to look for something else.
I have no doubt if Louis had the girls this year he would have put Melanie and Jade through instead of Sophie and Amelia or Misha. Simply because he knows he would get the Irish and Scottish vote to get these girls far.

I don't like to see any bias on The X Factor but obviously there is plenty. The worst is always from Louie if you're from Dublin. It's almost as if he's blind to anyone else. Mary Byrne (yuk!), Jedward and Nadine Coyle to name three, although Nadine was brilliant in the Irish Pop Idol but got thrown out because she was only 15 but lied to say she was 16. Another stunning voice to get a little lost these days. Shane Ward should have been huge. What is Alexandra really doing these days? Is her singing career over? and what is left of Leona? Her singing style is now quite dated. Times (and charts) have moved on from the Leona/Mariah type.

He is so boring and chooses acts based on his sexual fantasies as opposed to real talent that he overlooks...
Goldie and johnny makes the show look like a discrace!
Gary sees that lou is a old boring drag queen you can tell
