Here we go again. The newspapers are going mad because Luke wasn't put though. Of course it's an age debate (FFS)

There are 5 (yes FIVE) 16 year olds through this year. What the hell has age got to do with it? He sang crap!

If they'd have highered the age limit then Amelia Lily would not be through this year and it's pretty clear that she's more than ready for it.

I think it depends, some 16 year olds are assured and have great confidence and drive too, some as with other age groups too, have the talent and can sing but are totally unprepared for the stresses and work that's involved to gain the onstage poise needed to perform in front of people while also knowing that analysis of the performance is going to come at the end of the song.

As with lots of things,(even something as simple as a best man's speech at a wedding),some can just do it all and not be bothered, others can become really nervous and find it really daunting. Some can hide the nervousness and stress they feel, others cannot.
We are human, we often can react differently to others despite being in the same situations we find ourselves in.

Age has nothing to do with his elimination, he was just ****. If he had went through there would have been an even bigger uproar, like Cher and Katie all over again.

He didnt get put through because he sang **** at the judges houses by shouting out inpossibullllllllllllllll as he pronounced it every two minutes.

Sadly the journalists will never read this thread and this post.

What? I thought the news paper would be mad about Jade.
Are they serious, Luke Lucas was terrible, and made me cringe.
