View Full Version : How annoying is Misha

She is good, fair enough. But she is not as good as she thinks she is, and she clearly looks down on the other people in her category. I really hate her attitude.

Thankfully people will realize this pretty soon and she won't make the top 6.

Is that just because Amelia got voted off?

Nope, I'd have sent Sophie home not Misha.

Shes amazing and she knows it, thats where the problem lies

She deserves a career off the back of the show but I hope she doesn't come anywhere close to winning

Shes very cock-sure which I hate. She needs to show more, emotion? Not crying, but like enjoying the whole process, its not clear she is.

And when did that happen, can you enligten us. I have barely hear her say a few words, about singing A uk SONg, representing the UK! MOst of the other acts sang an American song.

And when did she look down on anyone again!! Is it because she idnt celebrate going thru. Thats probably to be respectful of the one getting eliminated!"

Or could it just be, you are channeling your frusatration onto her, for losing a favorite act.

This is the kind of statement that really gets on my nerves, based on nothing. WHat does being cock sure mean! When did she ever act like she was cock sure whatsoever.
Maybe she is reserved person by nature. There are a lot of those people you know. If she was very loud and demonstrative, I bet you anything you would hate her for being too loud!

It is just very clear watching her, she is far too cocky. There was a moment tonight where it was really clear but I can't remember what it was now, i'll watch it back tomorrow and post.

An no, my only real favourite after last night was The Risk. And it would be Sophie I'd be posting negatively about if I cared enough about Amelia going, not Misha.

She never seems humbled by her positive feedback and has a kind of "I agree" look about her and maybe its just my interpretation but when she got through she had a very cocky look on her face

She ha a humble look on her face, this is exactly what I am talking about. You guys throw out these accusations based on nothing.
Did you think, maybe, she did not ewant to celebrate, when one of her cathegory mates was about to be eliminated! GO back and watch it again and you will see.

Ahh, I see, so CHere, was not Cokky, or sure of herself at all.
In her case, you can actually say it, base on facts, and hearing her say it. NOt based on some dodgy feeling, like I am reading on this threead.

Cher's cockyness was gone every time she stopped performing, Misha's continues off stage and is clearly how she is

I agree, she comes across as full of herself - it's a good thing to be confident and sure of your abilities but it's a bad thing to let it show on The X Factor where people will decide their favourites and who they hate off the back of one single performance. I think it'll hinder her.

Misha is confident in her abilities and some people confuse it with arrogance. I would rather her believe in herself then doing a Rebecca Ferguson style ''I have no confidence'' routine:rolleyes:.

No wonder the GBP always play it safe with the type of people who have won XF (Alexandra and Leona aside).

She clearly thinks she has it in the bag. I hate over-confidence and she may just fall harder when the public take a dislike to it and don't vote

Most of the contestants are confident; Misha is over confident - it comes across in her mannerisms when she performs. It's no bad thing, but on a show like The X Factor it is a minor detail that people pick up on and rip to shreds, because it's the type of show that invites people to form opinions on the contestants.

I like that she's not playing it safe, plus her rapping will divide people anyway because she's not singing the usual pop music the XF audience normally likes due to it being the safer choice.

Agree 100% with the OP. All four girls were talented and Kelly had d tough choice, but Misha came aross as arrogant and full of herself. She was the one contestant I didnt see even a trace of vulnerability in and I just cant warm to her at all. Would rather Amelia stayed, but unfortunately her performance let her down. Dont agree with the previous post implying Rebecca Ferguson was false however, she was a very sweet nervous and humble girl, similar to Leona, and deserved to do well.

I don't really think her rapping will divide audiences because it seems like quite a few of the acts are doing it this year...

She reminds me of a past contestant from about 2 or 3 series ago but I can't recall her name at all. Same thing though. Great voice but overconfidence and iirc she was always in the bottom two but repeatedly saved by the judges. Rachel was it?

The public hate a smug-ass

Rachel Hylton (2008)? She was arrogant :joker: But she wasn't in the bottom 2 much.
Rachel Adedeji (2009 I think) was always in the bottom 2 though.

Rachel wasn't that smug and even watching her performances back she was a lot more talented than she was given credit for, but she was never going to do well purely because she was on the year following Alexandra. Even Treyc last year struggled with that, but I think the time is about right for someone like Misha. I just hope she tones her attitude down a bit because she could win and be massive

Love it if she is in the B2 with Frankie in a few weeks and they kick out her smug ass.

Amelia was robbed.

I got this impression when it was announced she was through, she nodded her head in appreciation to Kelly then there was this look she gave to Sophie or Amelia that looked like she was above them. Very cock-sure of herself.

That's how I saw it.

Funny, because I saw it as, "good luck guys", And she didnt try to make a fuss of her going thru, to not upset the other girls.

Amelia on Xtra factor, said that Mischa was like a mother to her. Funny!

Oh? I even rewind that bit too because I couldn't believe she gave that look (as I saw it)

It's great when you see something in someone and someone else comes along and sees just the opposite.

I haven't seen any Xtra factor so don't know what any of the contestants have said or who they are close to.

I love girls like Rihanna and Alicia Keys but I'm just not a fan of the "Aretha style" that a lot of black women singers have.
Mischa is a lot like Rachel Hilton from 3 years ago.
She isn't nice to look at when she is singing - she snarls. Her hair and styling is awful.
Kelly has a "sister thing" going on with her, which you would expect.
She is a blatant Missy Elliot rip-off. Surely the judges know, but don't want to say.
....but she probably has the best voice in the show if comes down to power and range.

She just gave Sophie and Amelia a real dirty glare, when she got through, it was like she thought 'HA, I'm better than you both.'

I'd much rather a cocky person than somebody who pretends that they aren't that good but know that deep down they really are e.g. Janet

MusicXian
11-10-2011, 10:46 AM
I think the problem of Janet is not about how good she think she is, it's just that she's a really shy and nervous person, which is understandable. I was like that when younger too. I used to crap myself at the thought, even at uni when doing presentations in front of people and such stuff. So imagine for Janet who is clearly a nervous person at performing in front of thousands in the arena and millions at home.

Like with everyone though she will get better at performing the more she does it. Still nervous which is always a good thing, but being able to manage the nerves and shyness.

Marc
11-10-2011, 11:26 AM
Janet has tonnes of YouTube videos of herself singing though. That's not what somebody with a 'shy' personality trait would do. She knows she's good and her 'vulnerable/shy/little mousey/delicate' ways bug the hell out of me.

Same with Leona when she was on; just accept that you're good and stop annoying me :hmph:

MusicXian

Posting videos on youtube is fair enough, lets not forget even though she is posting these videos the world she is still in her own bubble and able to control whats going on. I could do something similar and pick and choose what goes on the net. At the end of the day though, performing in front of people with not much control if anything does go wrong is obviously something that makes some people nervous, like herself.

So far even when asked by the judges or Dermot 'How do you think you did' She has remained humble with the same answers, 'I dont know' or 'glad the crowd like it' (like after aerosmith cover) because she does just seem to be the type of person who clearly doesnt know how good she can be or at the very least doesn't want to big herself up by saying so. Why should she anyway? If she was the type of person who said 'I am awesome, I was brilliant just then' its quite obvious most people in Uk hate this trait. However its a good thing she is nothing like that. Its what makes her appealing to many viewers.

'X factor 2011!!!!' she made Kitty seem shy :joker:

I think the choice Kelly made may be her downfall. I don't see Misha being THAT popular, and Sophie, though good, seems to appeal less than Amelia. Strange how both Amelia and Jade were jettisoned before the public vote, yet you would have almost put your mortgage on BOTH of them being there, the way the auditions have been edited......

MusicXian

Amelia was easily top 3 potential. She did have a huge fan club already. I do think its a mistake, but Kelly was going to make a bad choice whoever went because alot of people like every 1 of them. That said I think Amelia had the 2nd biggest fanbase out of the 4 thus far in the competition, Sophie the least, but Kelly really likes Sophie and so do I.
