View Full Version : Sky+ is a disgrace, OMG!

This is a disgrace.

I had set Sky+ HD to record Waterloo Road EVERY week, on Series Link.

I even have Big Brother on Series Link aswell as EastEnders - and they're fine.
Tonight however - Waterloo Road wasn't recorded.

So I went into the kitchen about to strangle my Mum and was ready to cut my Brother's throat, thinking one of them bastards took it off Series Link, but then I looked at the planner and it's scheduled to record next week - so it's still on Series Link?

So WHY THE HELL did Sky, decide to be a cheeky bastard and do as it pleases and not record Waterloo Road?

Now I'm going to have to watch it on iPlayer in silly quality - because not only is Sky a *****, so is the BBC for not having a Plus One channel, instead they think BBC4 is more relevant.

gtf0!

You need to investigate this further.

Go and grab the remote and check to see if someone else recorded something at the same time, they have probably cancelled the recording when that big box pops up over the whole screen telling you that you have two things to record and need to cancel one.

Them horrible bastards.

I was trying to pause an important tv show the other day to make a cup of tea and it kept coming up with a error message :hmph:

Mine sometimes throws a wobbler and doesn't record stuff on ITV. Think the Sky bods said to retune it.

Got a new sky+hd box the other day (don't know why, we're just on normal sky+) and the sounds pants compared to the other one

not best pleased.

How pathetic to moan about something so trivial. It's on iPlayer, easily accessible and it's obviously a technical error for whatever reason I doubt the "cheeky bastards" are sat in the office buggering up your sky planner.

How odd, I went to watch Waterloo Rd earlier only to find it was part recorded and nothing was recording on any other channel.

It did record BB with no problems.

Picture on non-HD channels is shocking compared to the normal Sky and Sky+ boxes. I bet they do it so people think HD is better than it actually is

I gotta admit this has been the worse start I have seen on Waterloo Rd. I guess it might be time to move one...
