Sticks is unable to access TiBB and says he is unable to post.
He wants to know if he has been banned, if so was this by accident or what has he done?
He doesn't have any contact details for any admins so has asked me to make this post.

Please can someone help :)

Thanks in advance

It happened to me aswell, I was in the bloody chat on Facebook when he announced it.

Tell him I'm fine and I'm not banned - so he should be fine too.
Just takes a while for this silly ******ing forum to load.

He says "I just get a white screen and it continuously says connecting"

I will tell him to clear his cache and cookies...

Can't think what is causing it if not the cache? Maybe his computer running slow re the site? Other than that he could google the problem and see if that helps?

King Gizzard
16-10-2011, 08:48 PM
can't for the life of me think of what it is :s

anyone else got it?

Annie
16-10-2011, 08:52 PM
I think he is getting a little stressed about it because his internet is working for everything else.

I have had to disconnect from my WiFi and go onto an Orange Dongle to post this

It seems my provider Virgin Media is being blocked

The pages were just not loading

Any ideas why this should be the case.

You may need to reply to me by face book as the dongle does not work so well where my laptop normally sits and all my systems are configured for the Wifi

You could be ip blocked, this is weird :/

Sticks

I have rebooted my modem and router

The only way I can get on to TIBB now is by using my laptop in another room, a pain to set up, and switching to my dongle.

If I use my Wifi, TIBB will not load (See attached image)

My regular IP must therefore have been blocked.

If this is permanent, then I will no longer be able to come on here as much as I used to.

It had been good posting here over the years

I will be sorry to leave.

Turns out a few people on virgin are having the same problems at the minute. On different forums...dunno if anyone else is having the problem here?

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1554833&page=2 I remembered reading this earlier on, and it clicked when you mentioned virgin. A couple on there saying the modems are being weird and not loading things.

Been having slight problems myself, but Im on o2. For me, I keep getting a page filled with gibberish, or a timeout every 30 mins or so. Both on here and DS...never facebook or anything.

dunno if it helps or not, but I'm with Virgin and no issues this end (not even on the speed side of things - no more than usual).

Hmm. Maybe its a certain area or something thats being affected (though that doesnt explain eoins problems)

As me and sticks are really close to each other :suspect:

I have forwarded your post Vicky to him on Facebook. Hopefully he does get it fixed, its a shame that he feels he has to leave the site because of this issue.

Welcome back anyhooooo. :)

I do not count myself back, unless this problem is fixed.

I have had to move stuff around just to use the dongle, which I can not always do.

Tell him not to leave the site. I am sure it can be resolved. I am with Virgin, and mine is ok, so it must be an area thing, strange how it only effects this site though.

Has he checked his AVG, firewall, or other stuff, it may have the site blocked in there?

They say the problem is fixed now

This was posted on my desktop using my normal broadband and not the Dongle from Orange.

I really did begin to wonder if my IP had been blocked somehow.
