Potential is Irrelevant in the sing-off, the two acts should be judged on that performance and not what they can do in the future and shame on Louis Walsh for picking the weaker of two, Nu vibe were bad but Frankie was utter rubbish tonight, whats the point in a sing-off if they are not going to have the chance to save themselves.Maybe Louis likes Frankies tights...hehe

It depends on whos up. Sometimes its clear if somebody has a lot of potential or not, buts its just a term used to save somebody who is no good but attracts viewers for some reason or another :bored:

They were both equally awful IMO. So they had to think of some reason to save one.

Plus last year cher lloyd made the live shows based only on 'potential' from her audition...and Katie was practically the same. Both choked at judges houses and were put through over people who were miles better. Its not a new thing

yeah i agree with these comments, it is a show afterall and they want a good one, i am not a fan of kitty but i really look forward to see what she will do next, so i bet if she is up she will be saved again and again, even if up against someone better.
