Hey, Rebecca .............. hope the holiday's going great! :xyxwave:

Weather's been lovely here in North East Scotland too ..... very warm but with a lovely breeze to stop you overheating. Pity I've been at work all week and not been able to enjoy it until after 5.30 p.m.

Ok.
Yeah it's been rather hot here in Manchester.

Sol.

You might be surprised when you see a thunderstorm later on this weekend mate.

They are expected due to extremely high humidity levels.

You'd think it anyway.

You know any sunny warm spell in GB! gets hit with a thunderstorm.

But once this little bubble of cloud has gone, then next week will be giving them papers in Fleet Street, the "What a scorcher!" Headlines.

Sorry to dampen the sunny side of things. Slightly.

It's been hot here in the North-East of England - I was walking around in a T-shirt when I went out earlier (something I very rarely do!) and I've caught the sun a little on my arms, I do burn very easily so I need to be careful.

The weather is still hot here today, except for quite a strong breeze the weather would be perfect. I doubt this will last long though, it never does.

I can't believe the heatwave were having!

Apparently this week is going to cool to the lower 20's but on the weekend it's going to rocket back up to near 30's and the next week is supposed to be quite hot aswell!

What is happening? We normally have 2 days sun then rain for a week!

Mike

The last two times we've had thunder and lightning storms, one hit a house on my road... and one hit down the hill from us aswell!

Pretty scary because of how loud it is and all the commotion it causes with alarms, TV's etc...
