I'm all for a return to San Andreas, although I expect it would simply be Los Santos done big time like the Liberty City jump from GTA III to GTA IV. I hated the Vice City world map and if that were going to be the game surely it would have some gaudy ass logo.

If we are going into logo conspiracys the texture in the V looks pretty Wall Street. All green and commercy.

The graphics look much better than GTA IV and actually have sunlight and more than four colours in the map. And it looks like there is plenty of grassy areas around the city. I loved flying off hills up by the Vinewood sign.

I can't bloody wait. It looks like they've emphasised the glitzy side of LA more to please the crowd who wanted Vice City back but of course the ghettos have to be there too.

Los Santos has a massive highway dominating it's nexus. It could just be telling you you're about to go on to it.

I mean don't get me wrong I hope it does go to other cities and towns but I don't think such transparant speculation gives any real insight into that. It's like saying because the game showed a sky you could use that sky to fly to visit Officer Tenpenny's abusive uncle in Carson City.

I think it is quite clever they are going to focus on the rich/poor divide in Los Santos and how they live alongside another, plus the financial side of things with the global recession and the usual rags to riches tale on GTA etc.

Grand Theft Auto V has been given its first details by Rockstar Games.

Developed by Rockstar North, the game will be set in present day Los Santos and the surrounding countryside, hills and beaches.

The hobo looks way different but the one being chased by cops is very possible. "Tommy" is clearly involved. I didn't see the white vest guy driving the van so good spot there.

I think it is very possible that there are multiple playable characters which was rumoured. Would be hilarious if the playable character was not even involved in the first trailer.
