I like this series for the fact that the bottom two has been different each week so far, it's refreshing to not have it be so predictable in the first few weeks! I hope it stays this unpredictable.

I thought it was a disgraceful bottom two though as it should have been The Risk and Johnny really.

Will start getting samey soon. Its good for the minute.

I dont like the whole bottom 2 idea at all tbh...apparently the whole point in it is to give someone a lifeline if they have a 'bad week' but its not used as that at all(Katie being the prime example..how many times was she bottom? 4/5?). And they rarely go on the actual sing off songs to decide who goes home either.

On American Idol they can give an act a free pass to next week at some point but they can only use it once I think, not too sure, but would be a good thing to implement over here if someone genuinely deserves it after a bad week.

Yeah I like that idea better.

Bottom 2 is rubbish really. Tulisa only voted out Sophie to make herself look good after the Misha Bullying thing. She said she connected with Sophie then said she voted her out cos she connected more with Misha? Louis made it clear he didn't base it on the sing-off and it's just to fill time.

Really we should just have it as the one with the least votes goes. It may mean the results are very different but the judges picking who they prefer personally means it's not really up to us.

Yeah its not up to us at all. If they wanted to, the judges could send someone pretty much all the way to the final, despite the public wanting them out.

Again, I use katie as an example of this...fair enough save them once...but to save someone like 4/5 times is just stupid

I like the bottom 2, Ruth Lorenzo wouldn't have made it past week 2 of her series without it. Kitty would have probably gone last week if it was down to the votes. It saves talented people without the support, it's the public's fault who ends up in it though.

I agree with this but then again this is only Mishas first time in the bottom two.

To be fair it kept going to deadlock with Katie so it was just as much down to th public as the judges

It only ever went to deadlock on the weeks when someone else was bottom ;)

As Zee said in the other thread

I reckon the judges are made well aware of the results in scenarios like this, heavily implied by some of the results last series (Mary v Cher; Katie v Treyc; Katie v Aiden) so I think if Sophie has more votes than Misha; then Gary, Tulisa and Louis will vote out Sophie and Alexandra won't have to vote and if it's the other way around then it'll go to deadlock to appear fair so that Sophie still goes home. I'm surprised Misha's there this early on in the competition, but I've said from the first live show that her terrible attitude won't endear her to the voting public so it's not a surprise that she's ended up there, just surprising that it's so soon IMO.

I despised her. Every time the judges saved her I hated her that little bit more. :joker: She was obviously hated. By the 3rd time they should've just realised and sent her home as the public didn't like her.

You could say that about anyone who's been saved by Deadlock though.

1. It only went to deadlock when she werent bottom of the votes.

2. She only beat people like Aiden and Belle Amie because she was on later than both of them on the nights they went, and Katie was always on a rebound vote aswell and even then both weeks votes was neck and neck.

Yes you could. But I find it quite odd that she had the judges majority vote whenever she was bottom of the public vote, yet they happened to go to deadlick when she managed to scrape her way to second bottom :p

I believe the judges always know the outcome...and this gives them even more control over the results.

I'd rather it be the same people. Atleast then you know the public generally don't like them unlike someone having a bad week and going because of it.

Cheryl kicked up a fuss the week she couldn't vote and wanted to send it to deadlock (where Treyc would've stayed). I think that was the only week it didn't go to deadlock

When Katie faced FYD it didnt go to deadlock and funny enough FYD got more votes than Katie.
