As big a fan of GaGa as I am, I too believe there are bigger female artists than her, but it's not all about sales now. She is the most followed person on Twitter and has the 2nd most viewed YouTube video (and the most viewed that has more likes than dislikes of course).

Followers on Twitter and Youtube views mean nothing if you're not selling albums. They're not good ways to judge success.

Remember they had this theme last year in the semi-final, one direction sang only girl in the world and cher sang nothing on you. Can't wait to hear what 'club classics' they will be singing next week !

Most chart songs get played in clubs, some stick more than others. Its a wide open theme

Also depends on what clubs you go to, for example in some places, Killers and Pigeon Detective songs are club classics, but you wouldnt class it with the others. Its a subjective theme

And just on the indie subject, I can guarantee Frankie will do Mr Brightside, Somebody Told Me or Sex on Fire.
