Crime surely increases if you have them fully off D:

Saves energy. They go off in my street from 1am until 5am as very few people are around/awake.

Yeah the ones in my village are off in the early hours too, we've only had about one crime in the last 10 years though so it's not much of a worry :laugh:

They've been on all night ever since i've been here..must introduce it in winter for some reason

Could be because the clocks went back and the lights haven't been altered so it still goes off thinking it's 5 in the morning when it's actually 4.

Urgh, it's 4am and I'm talking about streetlights. :laugh:
