Getting my first tattoo today.

I'm really excited until I get a flash of the needle going over my skin ha.

Anyone got a tattoo along the side their forearm, not the 'inside' but the 'outside' so the side that's level with your little finger..?

I'm lucky I've got flabby arms haha. Getting it at 1 so the butterflies are kicking in now!

Ninastar - where abouts are you wanting yours? I know for a fact that ribs, feet, hands and over joints are the most painful places. I knew a lad who had tattoos all over him and he took those fine, but then he had a rose over his elbow bone and he passed out it was so bad! Eee.

Went fab! Really happy with it, it's not as bad as you think it's going to be.

Just like continuous bee stings, really stingy but not really 'painful'. Hurt more nearer to my wrist bone and elbow though but was all good.

Red and feels like sunburn now though! So happy!

What did you get tattooed on your arm? One of my friends got a tattoo on that part of her arm, it's quite a cool place for one!

I bought some creams at the shop, sachets of "Tattoo Goo" or something it's called.

I got "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger" done, something I have to swear by now due to personal issues (anxiety and stuff I suffer with), I love it and so happy I got it done.

Thats good just make sure to look after it! I like them types of tattoos. Im gonna get a scroll going down my back with a poem in it. But it will match in with my tattoo i have now :D

Looks good, I'd like a tattoo but I'm too worried it'd look nowhere near as good as I thought it would or that I'd get bored of it after a few months or something :laugh:

Yeah that's true people do get bored of them then regret them. I've been wanting this for about 3 years though so I think I made the right decision.

It basically says "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" it but in bad grammar.

I want one but I will wait because new tattoo developments are happening and there will likely be ones that can be fully removable without scars in the near future.

I read something a while back where they were researching something that could get special ink that when a special fluid is injected into the area the tattoo just dissolves and it goes but doesn't leave a mark.

It's the bottom of my arm, the side of my forearm from my elbow to my wrist bone.
