I think I need to make an effort to listen to that album, the electric openings to the songs always throw me off

lol I had my friend over for a week and we just recorded it randomly xD I deleted it though :bawling:

the lyrics were

"Dry your eyes Stape, I know it's hard to take that her mind is made up, there's plenty more fish on the street" :joker:

the only song of theirs I've liked is Blinded by the Lights.

I really liked The Streets first couple of albums but was rather disappointed with The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living. Everything Is Borrowed was marginally better and supported some great tracks, such as The Escapist, but I rather lost track of Mr Skinner after that. I recently came across the fifth and final album, Computers And Blues, which is a fantastic record and a true return to form. In fact I think it's one of his finest. It has re-invigorated my love for his music and I have just commenced reading The Story Of The Streets tonight which I am finding quite interesting so far. Anyone else read it?

I've got it but haven't read it yet. He has formed a new group now with Rob Harvey called The DOT and released a few decent songs.

Yeah I have heard some of their stuff. There is some free downloadable stuff on his Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/mike-skinner) page too.
