I ****ing cannot with Gary Barlow

Everytime it's his turn to give his opinion on an act he always moans and bitches, he doesn't give constructive criticism like the other judges

Kitty - She needs to do something stripped back so that the public can connect with her
Little Mix - They're becoming predictable and running out tricks
Janet - he's becoming bored with her because she does the same thing every week (Even though she did up tempo last week and they all said go back to doing ballads because it's what suits you)

He said craig was amazing even though he's the most predictable contestant and he had the nerve to say that Kelly and Tulisa were giving tactical criticism when they (imo) hit the nail on the head when they were talking about Marcus


I'm not up to misha yet, but i imagine he did the same :nono:

Really hope he doesn't come back for the next series, he doesn't have the personality to be a judge on the X Factor. They've got it so, so wrong this year - too many changes, the wrong mix of judges, the constant **** ups with the contestants and the competition in general, the poor standard of contestants...

I'm not a fan of Gary as a judge either. I think he was in a position to help Frankie avoid some of the rubbish that surrounds the music industry, instead he pushed him towards it in previous weeks, so Frankie would have a better gimmick on the show.

Gray should have been kicked out of the show.

Gary is indeed too tactical I think. Sure they all want their act to win, but the point of being a judge aswell is to be honest.

Perhaps they should differ between a mentor and a judge. Have 4 mentors who are different to 4 judges.

Gary was one of the reasons I decided to watch the show this year. I thought he was great in the audition stages but since they live shows he's been friggin' disrespectful and and a total contradiction of himself.

I now cannot stand him anymore. Bad move for the bloke because he's losing face every week.

They mentioned what he said about them being predictable, it was more about his comment to Little Mix than to Janet but still... the caller mentioned that we'll be getting the same thing from Craig every week with him standing still on stage in a black suit or something along those lines.

I hate how he (and Kelly) both criticise everyone other than their own acts. Kelly's habit of arguing with Louis when he says something bad about an act and she disagrees, but won't touch another judge if they say similar things, winds me up too. The two of them have to go, they're even worse than Simon & Cheryl.

The two of them need bringing down a level or two. Kelly is famous for being Beyonce's backing singer and Gary is only there because they probably couldn't afford Robbie.

The whole panel worked really well at first but its just a mess now and needs another shake up next year. If they didn't have their own categories and were just judging like American Idol, so it would be like the auditions, I think this would be the best panel yet.

You're spot on there Tom. I think it's time for X-Factor to go actually and go back to that Idol type show again. It's unfair on the contestants to be judged by people who have their own interests as priority.
