If CBS treatment of Survivor is anything to go by, i think we can expect some former houseguests back again next summer. Pretty much all CBS reality shows now bring back past contestants. the amazing race and survivor have had TONS of past contestants back, and it's been the trend in BB too, so i think that is a given.

or aka a BB11 type season with a surprise eviction at final 4 instead of the usual way of evicting 4th place.
Say the 4th place eviction happens on thursday to the hgs but on wednesday throw a huge party. Hg that is not nominated is called into the Diary Room. Julie comes on and tells them that this is a secret eviction and you must vote now or face eviction yourself. Person says name and leaves te DR and is not allowed to tell the other hgs about this surprise eviction and the show goes to commercial break.
When Julie comes back on BB calls the evicted hg to the DR. Julie tells them the bad news and they are asked to leave the house via the door on the hg's left. passageway goes to the airlock and the hg leaves. Goes back the house, music all of the sudden stops bb comes on to say "Congrats on making it to the final 3, now go outside to participate in the first part of the HoH competition, Julie will talk to you guys shortly, and Sarah isn't coming back." and then Julie's interview with the evicted hg. (Like Stu's eviction in BB5UK)

I don't want any golden keys or anything like that. What would be cool (and I've said this before) is if they brought some popular HGs from BBUK and BB Australia into the house. Conversations would be more interesting because of the different cultural backgrounds and it would be interesting to see how they adapt to the environment. I think they should be given one week immunity from eviction so that they can settle in. So I'd love to see an international twist.

they already get a week. first eviction is usually around Day 13. We aren't shown the first few days

I REALLY want the crowd to be more like at UK evictions, more lively, with banners, etc. BBUS evictions are so prim and proper and boring, and interviews are like 2 minutes long, literally. And I'm sick of EVERYONE being cheered.

I agree with banners, and being more lively. And maybe have a spinoff show like BBBOTS where there is a extended interview with the evicted hgs. or have two hour evictions

I could imagine it now mysterious music with riffs from the opening song "It's been one of the craziest weeks of Big Brother ever, and it's about to get ever crazier with a double eviction, This is big brother." *crowd applause* goes to title sequence where we can hear the crowd.

and for crying out loud play some buildup music as the hg is leaving the house along with a countdown.

I'm not fussed with minor changes like countdown/exit music, lively crowd, whatever. It seems unlikely to happen given AG's notorious lack of creativity.

My major wishlist for BB14 is this:

1. 14 houseguests - NO RETURNEES, and all TOTAL STRANGERS
2. 82-day season (like the old days)
3. 1 live double eviction (to evict jurors 4 and 5 in the same hour, on roughly day 70 or so)
4. SCRAP the final 3 twist where 3 people make it to the final day, do the F3 eviction in a live show on Day 77 or so the way it used to go down. I'm so sick of this twist already, I hate how crappy the jury questions segment has become when done live.
5. As part of #4: now that a lot of the time in the finale is freed up, LENGTHEN the damn reunion and let every houseguest talk, and at length!
6. Extend eviction interviews to at least 8 minutes or so instead of the 120-second failed abortions we get now
7. Introduce NEW competitions - there are only so many times old ones can be recycled. Some classics like the eliminator and morph-o-matic can stay, but we seriously need new/more strenuous/more competitive challenges.

Essentially, what I want is a "back-to-basics" season - not a "back-to-basics" season in the form of BB10, where they told us we were getting a "back-to-basics" season only to have it ruined by the 1-week AP twist and jury rigging. Instead of coming up with dumb new twists like "cliques" or "saboteurs" or "golden keys" or "Pandora's box" I want AG and the producers to focus on shoring up the basics of the show and getting the foundation, the really critical stuff, right.

And for God's sake if there is any more BLATANT favoritism toward HGs and meddling as there was in BB13 at final 6 with the reintroduction of the duos twist, I will swear off BB for life.

The extended interview is usually on CBS the early show, or at least it used to be. Now that Julie Chen is on "the talk" i'm not sure if this is still true.

I got a crazy idea for an evil big brother.

No HoH bedroom and it's converted into a prison with basic necessitites. For rulebreakers (IE Sing even once, failure to put on mic pack, eating non-slop restrictions while on slop) Can spend hours in the prison and no vocal contact with other hgs not in the prison for 22 hours a day (There's a room that'll allow vocal contact.) The room lights must stay on 24/7 just like the bb13 havenot bedroom. There/'s a room in the back for toliets and cold water showers and a refrigerator for slop. There's no beds so the people have to sleep on the floor and it can fit up to 4 hgs. If Big Brother thinks that the person broke the rule just so they can have some time to chat with their alliance member in the jail, then Big Brother has the right to delay the jail punishment until that friend is out.

I think this is part of a long-standing debate over what Big Brother "should" be - a lot of people think BB should be harsh and exacting, in terms of challenges, and in terms of living conditions, to see how people will react to being put in such extreme situations.

Others (myself included) would rather BB be more of a 'summer holiday,' with comfortable living situation, a LOT of alcohol, and a lot of stimuli - under the theory that happy houseguests are more fun to watch.

The problem I have with the "evil Big Brother" idea (and yours by extension) is that it's too extreme and would end up just depressing the houseguests and making them walk on eggshells all the time in the house. I don't think that would be very fun to watch. I know I'd be a lot more likely to have a psychological episode if I felt like I was living in a prison house where an all-knowing entity had complete control over my life.

I know what I just described is pretty much exactly what 1984 was all about, and where the original "Big Brother" concept came from. But I think that concept has evolved over the years, and the show we watch now is a considerably different beast.

I really want a new house with one big bedroom. I think that there should be a live launch night and we can see the first food comp or even HoH. I think the launch night would work well with BBUS because Julie could pull one key at a time and say," Big Brother selects..." and that person grabs there key and enters the house. I also think the house should have a BBUK style front door with the sliding doors. Once the hg enters the house they put their keys in a slot in the memory wall and their pic pops up. Can anyone draw some house mock ups. Pls

This is a mock up that I did the memory wall is next to the bathroom and the house would have a lot of glass partitions(i.e. The bedroom entrance would have a glass wall, the bedroom would have a glass wall behind the first three beds on the left the bathroom would be almost all glass partitions and the living room would be surrounded by glass partitions and a couple of steps down to make the living room feel bigger). Oh and the closet would be hidden behind what they think is a huge mirror for a camera, but it's actually a door with a mirror on it( kind of like a BB6 gold room style closet)

Uh Kick u off the studio premises. Im sure the reason why the crowd is tame during usa evictions is because the american version prevents all outside contact unless a letter from home is involved and a 10 minute phone call

Audience members sign release forms, and I would presume other forms that legally bind them to cooperating with the production staff - i.e. booing and making a scene, spoiling jury members of events they aren't aware of, etc.

And I know it won't happen, but I too would LOVE to see a new house layout. Since that won't happen though, I pray they at least give us a radically different interior design this year, as the last few seasons have been really samey. Like, I didn't care that much Season 8's design, but at least it was something totally different from every other.

The Last time they did summer of secrets. It was after a meh season

- New House Layout that includes a secret room.
- Similar to Secret Story, everyone has a secret (IE I'm a renouned bounty hunter. I'm in here with my ex, I was a nun, I'm a transsexual.) If you make it to the final 2 without your secret being discovered, you'll get $250,000 for 2nd and 1 million for first place.
- If You Reveal Your Secret, You are removed from the game.
- For every secret you discover. You're garanteed $20,000 for every discovered secret. BB will let you know if you correctly guessed a secret.
- The HG will only find out about if their secret was discovered or not at the finale or the person that discovered their secret comes up to them.
- As a twist week 3 tell the houseguest and the public, that somewhere inside the house there's a coup d'etat. It would be fun and it would add to the paranoia. Imagine the hoh sneaking away from the HoH bedroom and looking for it in the backyard. (public will know the location) Can be used during weeks 3-6. But it will be removed if not discovered by week 5
-Every evicted HG will record a goodbye message on the day of the eviction. The HG will say thier final words to the house and reveal what was thier secret.
-On the first show, all secrets will be revealed but to prevent the public with interfering. They will be revealed anonmonously meaning the public will not know who has what secret.

I got a weird idea in my head. I know that some of you do not like the fact that sometimes america's vote interferes with the game in a big way. But this would bring fans to the show.

The twist is called America's Veto. Instead of a comp, the public will vote every week to save either HG A, HG B, or none at all. If the veto is activated to save a hg from eviction. the HOH has to replace that nominee. This lasts until F4 where the nomination ceremony will only happen if the HOH wins POV.

I got a intruder's twist idea.

16 Hopefuls are announced

10 will enter the house on day 1

the other 6 will stay in selclusion.

Bios are uploaded online and on the show about the 6 hopefuls.

We vote for whom we want to see enter the house

3 will become hgs
1 will be evicted as a intruder
2 will only see the front door.

the top 2 will automatically be safe but will be treated as intruders which means they can only sleep in the have not bedroom, but will not be on slop if the 10 hgs beat the first food comp on the first night.

3rd place and 4th place will be put up to eviction. The 10 hgs will vote, they won't know that they will be doing this until the first eviction. If it is a 5-5 tie, then the two "Safe" intruders will cast a vote together to evict the first contestant of the season.\

Then the first Hoh comp with the 10 hgs and the 3 newly declared hgs. Should be endurance as well

(Since they're intruders, the first evictee doesn't get a proper interview and is taken by security guards to the backyard exit where as they're thrown out of CBS studio city, they're getting a quickie interview with Julie)

i think this might be BS but I'm posting it. I saw that on twitter that someone high up is considering having the launch of BB all stars 2 the show that comes after the super bowl next year since CBS has it. I think this might of been taken out of context. But Survivor All Stars was the leadout program so you may never know.

They usually use the after super bowl slot to pilot a show, use a already popular show, and pimp it out with viewers out the eyeballs etc.

It's probably a rumor at this point. By this guy on Survivor Sucks.

Anyway It's gotta be all new hgs.

Hopefully sometime soon there's a hg exchange with BBUK
but the only way of that happening is if the HOH that week switches places with the Brit HGs and they just decide to hold off the events of that week's eviction until next and just have a double eviction the week the hoh comes back. Maybe state a rule that because the HOH will not be there the whole week, discussing the game (IE Noms and Voting) will not be tolerated break the rules and you become a havenot or something.

They Go into seclusion about two weeks before, so we should get House pics June 16-18th, Houseguests around that time as well and they enter July 3 and the first ep is the 12th (This allows the houseguests to get used to their surroundings and so they're ready for the live feed to limit cutting it because someone's singing or they're talking about someone that hasn't signed a waiver.)

Agreed. I think it would be an absolutely disastrous move for them to give the public control of who goes. Rachel would have been out first week in both her seasons had that been the case and Jeff would have probably won. :bored:

One thing I love about BBUS is that the big characters stay in for ages unlike in BBUK where as soon as they're up for eviction, they're usually evicted. If they allowed the public to vote it would only benefit the dullards and the floaters.

Anyway as much as I used to think that the public needed to have a bigger role in evictions I've kind of backed off that idea now. Tbh they probably would just get rid of the big characters. So I hope that's not it, because big characters carry the show.
The 4 big surprises really got me excited, hopefully one of the surprises is a change to the game rules or something. I remember the rules used to be tweaked each summer for the first seven seasons. The last being in BB7 when they made the veto player selection random.

There's more houseguests and the requirements for the LF this year are the highest yet and the fact that the resolution is 1280x720 makes me thing they're installing HD cams.

I hope not. I think that they can come up with something a little more creative. Not just one massive eviction. I would hope it would be a couple of extra double evictions, new HGs, mentors, power couple twist, just anything besides one huge eviction.
Also if that one mentor/team twist was true, would those returning mentors be considered HGs even though they can't win? :conf: And that's what makes me think that wouldn't be the twist because the mentors wouldn't be HGs. But who knows, I'm basing this all on semantics.

Julie watches the show but she's very impartial, she never explicitly states her opinions on the show, she's neutral. She does talk about the show on blogs and interviews and stuff and what she thinks.

It'd be amazing if they re-did the house this year with new construction, an update is needed.

Well, we'll find out if the house's been remodeled. Media Day inside the house is tomorrow. But the highlights are July 2nd the day we'll know about the twist and the 17+ hgs that will be entering

That's the same for every country, though. And America doesn't always like the boring nice people - Janelle, Britney, Dick, and Rachel are all popular and they're all somewhat villainous.

Big Brother 1 had no chance because none of the housemates were that great. Even if it were current BB rules it would have been the most boring season ever.

Eh, they need the ratings anyway. Unless she heard about the twist of former hgs being mentors thing like I have posted (Which has spread it's way through the internet like Michelle from BB11 spreads herpes.) which I have unintentionally done.

But in case she knows something that we don't *grabs gun* I'm getting ready for the apocalyspe. I hate the whiners that come after the news of former hgs is confirmed.

Also I think she may be overlooking things. There's a new commercial that has a bunch of BB7-13 DR sessions of one word segments put together into one statement. It's making people think it's AS2. For the 5th bazillionth time we would've known by now if it was going to be AS2
