I prefer it to a proper book tbh. Its smaller and lighter than a real book so its more comfortable to hold. Plus you can fit loads of books on it at once and you don't have to fumble with pages and stuffs. They're really easy to use too and they have a built in dictionary if you don't understand a word. :)

They're generally more useful if you travel a lot though. Thats one thing I'd say.

And it really is! Its such a faff when you're reading a book, come to a word you don't know and then have to go online or something to work it out. On Kindle you just put the cursor next to it and it'll give you a definition. :love:

Curiosity got the better of me and I read the first book. I enjoyed it so much I bought the next two yesterday. Cannot wait for the film!

It officially got the 12a rating today. Apparently the BBFC initially rejected the 12a request and sent the film back for edits to be made. The director's cut DVD will likely be a 15 in that case.

It's not that much different from a 12 though, it basically means that under 12s shouldn't see it but it's the parents fault if they bring them to it.

It's not really about gangs, drugs, or police. It's more of a piece on the urban city in general in all aspects. Crime, Politics, Schools, media. It's the greatest story told visually ever.

There has never been a show or movie were as great of characters. There are 50 + characters all with rich backstory and development. It is the blueprint for character driven drama if there ever was one

So E! Online are reporting that Garrett Hedlund, Armie Hammer and Taylor Kitsch are the top three guys they are considering to play Finnick in Catching Fire. A final decision could come as early as this week. Garrett Hedlund is a fan favorite so I think a lot of people will be pleased if he gets the role, I could see him as Finnick. Who do you guys think should get the role out of these three?

Read the book after I saw the movie. I didn't want to really put the book down.

I liked how it stayed mainly true to the book. (the movie of course.)

There was somethings out of order but only really trivial things. Such as the final order.
Foxface died in the movie before Thresh.
Thresh died in the storm in the book, In the movie Muttantgens killed him supposedly.
only one career was killed in the movie by the aftermath of the beehive
The Muttagens were not the tributes in the movie.
Cato's death took several days in the book, just took a few minutes in the movie died the same way.

I want to see the three hours of extra footage. I'm hearing that Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss) is becoming the must have actress in Hollywood. There's going to be a First Class Sequel and they're waiting until she gets done with Catching Fire before they start doing the sequel (She plays Mistique in First Class)
